Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Appearance: Clear golden/amber with finger thick white head. Aroma: Biscuit, note of corn and honey, floral. Taste: Medium sourness, low/medium sweet and bitterness. Palate: Thick coarse texture, light body, prickly carbonation, abrupt bitter/sweet malty finish after the initial sourness. Comments: Tasty and glass lace.

A Brownish-Amber beer with a very good head and good lacing after drinking. This was the first Pilsner that I managed to get a decent amount of foam with. The smell was good with a sweet overtone and a little bread. The taste was a bit of a let-down as there wasn’t much there. You could feel the beer down the middle of the palate and it hit all the sensors, but it just did not thrill me. Overall, an okay beer.

Smells not too special. Pours deep golden, with an uneven and quick to deflate head. Tastes light and bitter. Unusual aftertaste. Not too carbonated. Overall, okay, but far from the premium beer the label claims it to be.

Not very impressive aroma of malts and hops. Large head but quickly disappearing to almost nothing. Crystal clear golden body. Decent bitterness in taste with good malty background. Appropriate, not too high carbonation.

Bottle. It smells of hops, light sour, a little bit of cookies. The white foamy head has a normal size, the body is pale yellow. The taste is rather bitter, a little bit metallic. The body is light and dry with a normal carbonation.
