COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Light yellow with an average head. Clean light hoppy aroma. Light body, well balanced crisp and a little dry. A solid but quite boring pilsener

500ml can.
Pours a pale sparkling hay yellow with a foamy white head. Leaves a fair bit of lacing. Smells like an average pilsener. Grassy hops and biscuity malts. A little bit of apples too. Light bodied with a medium-thin feel. Taste is sweet and malty. Slight hops in the finish. Very average and simple. Not too exiting.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 9 Oct 2007) Golden yellow colour with rocky white head. Malty, bready nose with notes of grassy hops. Malty, clean taste with white bread and grassy hops in the finish. Some malt sweetness lingers in the background. Hardly exciting, but solid and reliable pilsener.

Bottle. Medium high white fluffy but lasting head.Clear golden gody. Very mild - other words for hardly any - aroma of barley malt. Flavor is also very mild and non-hoppy barley malt with little carbonation and short aftertaste. I still do not get it, why brew another one like the others do.

01/10 0.5 l can. Pours pale yellow body with big creamy head going away at relatively slow pace. Citrus and apple hops in aroma. Some malts, present, too. Dusty and sweetish taste. Bitter, but nothing too much. Medium carbonated with oily texture it has long sweetish palate. Only if there is no so much sweetness. Average beer, nothing more.

Yellow and clear. Has a lasting, white head. Typical faint pilsener, hoppy aroma. Flavor starts sweet, but finish faint bitter. Watery texture.

330mL bottle: Golden and carbonated with small bubbly head. Aroma is skunky and detectable corn and grain. The flavor brings nothing new to the table: Under hopped, corny, grainy with a forgiveably light, crisp finish. Palate is watery not watered down. Decent.

ekstedt (5626) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 22, 2007
Bottle (33 cl) at some Autobahn Raststätte between Frankfurt and Kassel, Germany. Pale golden with a medium to large fluffy white head. Grainy and hayish malt aroma with faint grassy and herbal hops. Light to medium bodied with nice mouthfeel. Some sweetness but also a moderate bitterness, adding up to a well balanced, although mediocre, german pilsener.

beerledgend (1197) - Waterloo, Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 17, 2007
Bright pale straw colour with big white creamy head. Sweet malty aroma, corn syrup flavour, slight bitterness. Typical of style many New Zealanders enjoy, sweet and malty.
