3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pretty standard stuff. Pours straw gold with a foamy white, small beaded head. Mildly sweet, hopped nose. Notes of honey and rounding of malts. Wee tiny bits of citrus and caramel.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Helluva decent pils, I'd say. Looks good, the nice head subsiding, yet leaving lacing. Golden colour.
Aroma of hay and malts. Flavour is malty ending in a nice hoppy aftertaste. Good body.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A fine German pilsener with a mild flavour and a so-so appearance. Not the best I've had but certainly not the worst

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden with a nice thick foamy white head. Bready aroma with some weak grassy notes. Not very impressive in flavour; a short bready flavour with hints of boiled vegetables. Short bitter finish.

Starts out mildly malty, sweetish nose, drying in the middle. Finishes watery and boring.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice dark straw color, and long lasting head. I can't quite put my finger on this one, a little more mouth feel than other German Pils, good lace, a dry grain tartness, moderately hopped but not sure which ones. Ok beer.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Faint corn aroma. Bright clear golden colour with very thin head. Thin lace line from initial head. Carbonation dissipates quickly. Although not very bitter, it is overly bitter since there is no malt or grain flavour to balance it out. First taste is somewhat sweet but that is rapidly overwhelmed by the pronounced hop bitterness. Very little body. A disappointing example but very much alike to other popular Pils exports. Thirst quenching in the sunshine perhaps but not a great beer. Bottle.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2004 Dust and mold nose. Golden, no carbonation, quickly diminishing head.
Malt and corn taste, forgetteble bitter aftertaste - bleech. Light body.
The Google Ad right now reads "Free Rectal Bleeding Info" - somehow I find that quite fitting.
