Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Something weird going on here: This is the 3rd bottle/can in a row from the same store, all different brewers, that have been somewhat flat. This one poured with a large fluffy, foamy, thick, white head that lasts a while and some lace. Color is a clear yellow. Aroma is malt, hop, grain. Flavor is like nose and has a good bitter/sweet balance but again, the tang of carbonic acid is missing. Body itself is quite good but is hampered by the lame carbonation. Finish is like flavor and slowly tapers off in medium length. Really could have given this beer a much higher score, were it not for the bubbles which are crucial to a Pilsner of any type including the Germans.

Classica pils, molto bevibile. Pulita, morbida, con finale amarognolo molto gradevole.

Seems to be a very German pilsener. Nice clean aroma, some honey-ish sweet malt, small but noticable noble hops.
Flavours are much the same. Honey, mild hops, quite floral. Quite clean mouthfeel. Not bad overall

330 ml bottle in 6-pack from TBS, served cold in a Scotch Irish taster glass.

App.: Clear golden with a decent off-white foam. Aroma: Peppery, grassy, wet hay, cooked/boiled cereals, light DMS maybe?, slight biscuit. Palate: Medium body, fairly full carbonation. Flav.: Some cardboard, cereals/grains, less of the hop notes (still there though), minerals; dry with restrained bitterness and a clean light malt finish.

Certainly hits the spot on a hot day after chores.
