Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Fair to middling German Pilsner. There are many better but you can do an awful lot worse. Pours clear from the tap and is usually quite lively. Crisp, clean taste, good head retention and nice balance of hops and malt with a hint of fruit in the finish. A decent enough beer on draught but nothing to get too excited about.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a creamy white and slowly collapsing white head. Dry malt and cornish aroma. Flavour is mild malt with a light caramel malt note and a light cornish sweetness. Minor and slowly building bitterness into the finish. Clean and good.

Gold, mouldy head. Creamy aroma - bit of malt bit of hops, neither jumps out of the glass. A bit fizzy in the mouth. Sweet plasticky taste - like honey in a way, but has some odd tang that might once have been related to a hop too. A bit creamy. A bit like off minced beef in places.

This is a fantastic beer to get the night started. Once cold, they will go down so easy. This is my favourite beer for sinking before going out. Very pleasant.

330ml bottle, 4.8% a/v Pours dark for a pils, a golden colour with a nice white head. The aroma is slightly spicy, bready, and a bit of light malt. The taste is pretty clean, a bit more flavourful then most pils and a nice malty finish which was surprising. Overall decent, a bit malty and not crisp enough for my taste.

This is an all around good pils from Germany. Nice malty flavor balanced out by a good herbal hop bitterness. Very drinkable.

330ml bottle. Pours a nice deeper than usual gold, with a large sticky white head. Aroma: A little bready pils malts, lots of grassy-sweet noble hop presence. Flavour: A bit of an indistinct tasty mess at first, but it evens out with some bitterness in the finish, followed by a delightfully malty aftertaste. Almost a tad fruity? Very crisp, and fresher than I was expecting. A pretty solid, enjoyable German Pils.
