Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Bright pale straw colour with big white creamy head. Sweet malty aroma, corn syrup flavour, slight bitterness. Typical of style many New Zealanders enjoy, sweet and malty.

Bottle... what I like about this beer is the full flavor. It’s dry with a bitter finish and has more character than a run-of-the-mill Pils. Very underrated in my opinion.

A very dry beer that offers a nice balanced flavour without any unwanted sweetness. Not too gassy and very easy to drink.

Pours a straw color with a large head and lots of carbonation. Flavor is intense in a way that I am not accustomed to: it is dry with grass and straw flavors and a very crisp and very tight, astringent finish...not hops bitter really. This isn’t my favorite style, but probably not horrible for the style. Wow....just so puckering....Showed up this week in Panama, but probably was a one time thing.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2007 (Bottle) Pours golden. Rather sweet aroma with malty and grainy notes of bread and light corn. Hops brings oil, soap (almost shampoo like), grass and flowers up front, secondary some smaller notes of herbs. A very faint touch of fruits is also notable. Flavour is less sweet with more bitterness and some dry notes in the end. Some grassy, herbal tiny citric bitterness. Rather clean and crisp mouthfeel but a bit hard. Light to medium body.

Bottle (BB Oct 07, from Bitter Virtue). Poor Industrial beer. Grassy hops cheap malt and mild bitterness. OK its fairly drinkable but is still cr*p.

Clear yellow colour with a white head. Malty, fruity aroma with only a light hoppyness. Malty, light grainy sweet flavor. Light dry and bitter finish.

Very malty, bready. Goes down easily. Tastes more like a lager than a pils. Also tastes significantly different on tap versus in the bottle. Sweeter on tap, more bitter in the bottle.
