Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Bottle. Golden colour with a desapearing white head. Aroma of malt and hops. Weak flavor with a little bitter. A normal pilsener

Premium Pils, more malty flavor than many in its class that want to be merely guzzled against thirst and for buzz rather than savored. Great foil especially for the robust food in its (wineless) home territory.

davegore (222) - liverpool, Merseyside, ENGLAND - DEC 23, 2007
Present for my birthday (thanks Dad). Pours yellow, quite foamy head, not much on the nose but some hops in the mouth, pretty forgettable in every other department

Embrouille (2830) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 23, 2007
Bottled 50cl. It pours a yellow beer with a big creamy white head. The nose is hoppy with hints of apples and corn. Cardboard, cereals and apples in the taste. Decently hoppy. This pilsener leaves a nice lacing. Some sulphur. Clean bitter finish.

Maria (10176) - Thisted, DENMARK - DEC 16, 2007
Light golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of malt ad hops, and so does the flavour. It has a nice bitterness. Easy to drink - and quickly forgotten...

0.33 l bottle. Golden color with medium head. Balanced aroma with sweet maltiness, honey and herbal-peppery hops. Malty yet dry flavor with firm bitterness and herbal peppery hop flavor. Some grainy and metallic notes.

this runs under "Premium" in the shop where I bought it, but my best guess is, this being the same brew ... quite surprising quality for a canned lager (to start with), there is everything you would expect from this type of beer: a nice foam, a hoppy smell, a balanced taste (between hops and malt) and unfortunately a sour aftertaste as well ...

tomciccateri (1026) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - NOV 8, 2007
On draught at Tblisi Marriott. Cleaner than any local beer. Clear gold with a white head.slight hop aroma and flavor. Soft mouthfeel. Not crisp but a welcome lager.

Light yellow with an average head. Clean light hoppy aroma. Light body, well balanced crisp and a little dry. A solid but quite boring pilsener
