Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Bottled. Hazyish yellow golden colour with white creamy head. Hops and malt in aroma. Hops and malt in flavour with some hayish hints in finish. Wellbalanced and clean.

Thick stiff head, bitter hoppy and dry. All the good charachteristics of a good pilsner. Krombacher is no compromise. It is one of the best pilsners I’ve tried and beats Staropramen easily.

Taste is a little corny, but the color is a hazy gold. Hop and malt character are about average. Bitterness is not enough for me.

Bottle. A gift from a foreign exchange student who brought it with her from Germany. It’s a decent pilsener with the expected pilsener aroma and hoppy bitter finish. Went well with the grilled chicken and pork we had for dinner.

Bottle. Golden yellow with a persistent white foam. Aromas are light biscuit malts with gentle herbal hops. Flavours are biscuit with corn and nice citrus. Tastes better than my description implies - the hops are quite grassy and addictive. A decent pils.

Bottle at Pub Italia in Ottawa. Piss yellow with a bit of foamy head. Skunky scent. Taste is watery, hoppy. Good, simple, easy drinker though the skunk scent puts me off.

Pale golden with a foamy head. Strong scent of hops and just a bit ’skunky’. "cold and wet" no strong flavor a bit bland. Strong hoppy finish. A bit better then most macrobrews.

Bottle: A passable Pilsener, light gold with a brief-lived head and a steady stream of carbonation. The aroma is a faint malt overlaid with a flowery hoppiness. Medium to light bodied, it has a light, generic malt flavor with a respectable amount of floral hop bitterness. The finish is crisp and clean.

Not a bad pils at all. Usually you can find it on tap here in Greece (at kebab restaurants). Accompanies meat really well. Pale golden color, medium to low head but the taste is quite refreshing.

Keg. Yellow with a thick, white head. Aroma is hoppy. Flavour equally hoppy. OK
