COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Can, half a litre at home. Poured a golden yellow colour with a two finger head that soon went away, but stayed enough to protect the surface. Average bubbles rising to the top. Aroma is of malts and something I can’t put my finger on, but quite pleasant. Taste is bitter and metallic. Medium bodied, leaves a dryness on your tongue. Average carbonation. Overall one step ahead of your average german pilseners.

Weakish white head and golden body with modest carbonation. Aroma is cardboard and bread, some fusel sweetness. Flavour is bitter cardboard with a tinny lip-wrenching finish. This is one bad pils.

0.5l can. Good malt, little too much carbonised. Not too bitter, short aftertaste, small body.

It's a pilsner. Rather uninspiring. Lightly hopped, ends slightly sweet. Decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0,5L bottle. Light hop aroma. Quite technical weak hop taste. Light watery drink like beer. On finish felt some ginger sweet bitter. Best part of this beer.

Good solid light beer. Refreshing. Pours a nice golden yellow with a small head. Had from the bottle in USA, but much better from fab in Germany.

Bottle at home, this rating is more for my own list I have had this beer earlier this year before i started taking notes. What I remember: decent beer, but since its German, you get what you expect mostly.

Clear, golden yellow color with a nice white foam. Aromas of dry Saaz hops and some malt sweetness. Classic pils aroma and classic flavors. Light malt flavor with mild caramel malt note and a light malty sweetness. Smaller and slowly building bitterness in the finish. Pure and good. Really good beer in conversations

Pours a clean golden colour with a huge white head that is creamy, frothy, with great retention and foamy lacing. Contains hops and hop extract ?? Is that really part of the German Purity Law of 1516, to have extracts ? Anyways, mild grainy malt nose with bare minimal hops. Watery, but slightly creamy mouthfeel. Not hoppy at first sip, but the hop does come out eventually, and it is the one I do not like. The one that makes the beer taste rusty. Not as bad as others with this hop, and the malt saves things in the finish, lingering a little. Says No. 1 Premium beer in Germany. Not sure about this one, as I am sure there are better German Pils that appeals to the mass market ?

500ml can from some convenience store in Bocham. Pours a clear yellow-gold colored body with an inch thick, dense and foamy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is lightly sweetened pils malts, some florals, touches of grass, and some grain. Flavor is similar. Lightly sweetened and grainy with some florals and a very light grass. Finishes dry and lightly bitter with a good amount of florals. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a light body and a moderately active carbonation. Overall, a decent pils. Fairly floral with a light malt sweetness and balanced bitterness. Not bad.
