COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Aroma: Ether and alcohol are dominant accents. Bread and cereal notes with greenery sub notes. Appearance: Clear pale gold with average sparkling. Creamy white head disappearing fast and with no lacing. Taste: we can feel the cereals and the bread. Light and refreshing. Finish is malty and caramel. A pretty decent and unpretentious pilsner.

Draft at Valhalla. 1/2 liter in proper glassware. Clear body with a thick white head. Copious lacing. Bready aroma, lager yeast. Great flavor. Refreshing and quaffable. A delicious pilsner.

From tap in Frankfurt into a glass krombacher mug. Clera as day, nice carbonation, fluffy white head. Medium body, creamy. Very nice body. Nose is light maly, a little wheat. Body is a bit fuller than a typical pils, but nothing too remarkable. Refreshing and straight-forward.

Pours clear golden with a finger of white head. Aroma of light citrus and bready malt. Taste is slightly bitter and bready with a sweet malt finish. Light, smooth body with average carbonation.

Bottle. Krombacher is for me something like a benchmark. It is the definition of mediocre. Well brewed, without flaws or errors, without bad aftertaste and without headaches. However, on other hand without much aroma or special taste, just a solid straight forward beer. Golden, clear and sparkling with a full, white, long lasting and frothy head. Aroma is malty with bready notes, spicy and somewhat floral-earthy. Very balanced taste and flavor, however the sweetness is a bit stronger than the hoppy bitterness. Very harmonic in its composition, straight forward and easy, maybe to harmonic, without any edges or pleasant surprises. The body is light with high carbonation and a bitter finish.

Pale golden color, medium white head. Smelly grassy aroma and malt. Taste is not to sweet, not to bitter, refreshing beer.

Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a creamy white and slowly collapsing white head. Dry malt and cornish aroma. Flavour is mild malt with a light caramel malt note and a light cornish sweetness. Minor and slowly building bitterness into the finish. Clean and good

50 cl bottle from Liviko Alcostore in Tallinn (€ 1.40). BB 13.01.16. Pours a clear pale golden colour with an off-white foamy head that’s got nice retention and lacing. The aroma is striking as very grassy and malty, bready, with a bit of sharpness even. Tastes sweet and somewhat honey-like, with a somewhat herbal and grassy bitterness - seems more to be coming from hop extract than hops. Body light, carbonation mellow and more active in the throat when swallowing. Dry, hay in finish and on palate. Not among the most quenching Pilsners I’ve had, nor among the kind of Pilsners I like. Overall... an OK background beer when nothing better in sight, or when not feeling too snobbish.

Draught, Vapiano, Fürth. A decent, regular pils, not too complicated, not too much carbonation.

Beczka w Land & Stil (Dorfhagen). Aromat słodowo-chmielowy.
