Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Life seems to have thrown a few of these commercially brewed European lagers at me lately, thanks to special offers at cheap outlets, and I’ve appreciated of all of them, much to my suprise. This one is particularly nice. 500ml bottle served cold in a large tulip, Beautiful clear gold with a generous white foam. Lemon aroma, fig and dry biscuit flavour. Medium bodied sharp and clean. Good reminder that it’s not all micro-brewery’s, craft beer, dark IPA’s and experiments. Trust it to be the the bloody Germans though!

500ml can from some grocery store. Pours light gold with a big white head that doesn't completely fade away, which is nice. Aroma is bready and grassy. Sweet, grainy flavour. Better looking and better tasting than the other macro pilseners I have tried.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a fair head and some lacing. Aroma of citrus, malt sweetness and bit grassy. Taste of a mild malt sweetness, bit of citrus and grain. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, quite crisp and clean. Typical German Pilsener, nothing flashy.

0.33l bottle. Golden color with white head. Malty aroma. Taste is sweet. Thin to medium body and soft to average carbonation. Overall it’s one dimensional and rather watery beer, but easy drinkable.

Aromat: słodowy + DMS Wygląd: Klarowne, jasne, niezła piana Smak: puste, lekko słodowe, goryczka niska i nieprzyjemna + lekki DMS Ogólnie: piwo nie warte powtórzenia.

"light biscuit malt and grassy hops. slightly more flavorful than your average pilsner, but not really a whole lot to get excited about. pretty good summer quencher."
