Why should we strive constantly to try to improve an already excellent flavor ever? It is one of our strengths, we can recognize that when a product perfected and completed in flavor. We believe in modern continuity and stability as strengths of Krombacher - constant in quality, resistant to the taste. An achievement that we will not sacrifice lightly. The Christmas Song tells the quietly resting at sea, as we feel it with our beer. In peace lies both the strength and the indulgence.

Nature has provided us with its mountain spring water ® richly rewarded. We also feel this as a mandate and responsibility to consider also Krombacher Pils as a gift and preserve this jewel of nature pure. The mountain spring water ® is the most important component for the unique quality and distinctive taste experience of a Krombacher lager. A Krombacher stands for naturally fresh beer enjoyment and a fine, spicy aroma. How many generations in the future, our passion is the preservation of this achievement.

Life seems to have thrown a few of these commercially brewed European lagers at me lately, thanks to special offers at cheap outlets, and I’ve appreciated of all of them, much to my suprise. This one is particularly nice. 500ml bottle served cold in a large tulip, Beautiful clear gold with a generous white foam. Lemon aroma, fig and dry biscuit flavour. Medium bodied sharp and clean. Good reminder that it’s not all micro-brewery’s, craft beer, dark IPA’s and experiments. Trust it to be the the bloody Germans though!

Really easy drinking without an overpowering after taste. A creamy taste that belies the premium ABV. Excellent

2014/04/13 - Pours a clear yellow-gold colour with a medium, foamy white head. Aroma is grass, bread, tart apples and mild skunk. Taste follows nose; grass, bread, sweet and tart apple and some mildly bittering hops. Mouthfeel is medium with lively carbonation and a mildly bitter and drying finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pils de base, bière de soif sans arôme particulier. Pas la meilleure des Pils que j'aie goûté.

Bottle @ Lloyds No 1. Pale lager yellow, big head and impressive lacing. Sour, grassy, malty aroma. Taste is bitter with a sweet edge. Lingering finish. All in all, everything I’d want from a Pilsner. Impressive.

Pours a clear, light golden color and a generous white frothy head with decent retention. There’s not much going on for the nose, just subtle malty and grainy aroma in the back. The taste is gentle, sweet at the beginning, followed by nicely balanced body. The finish is decently bitter (nice). Smooth and easily drinkable. Enough taste.

Light fruity aroma. Great summer beer. Not a lot taste. Little to no head. Nothing special.

Tap @ Babelas, Leicester. Nice golden pils colour. It's quite a normal pilsner to be honest, nowt special but nice anyway. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Hoppy aroma profile, with grass bordering on resin. The flavour is balanced malty-hoppy but ultimately boring. This is about the average for a macropils from Germany. There are better and worse ones out there.

Bottled, 500ml at a Wetherspoons. Bubbly gold with white head. New on the Wetherspoons list and a welcome addition. Light and malty body, quite crisp and drying, certainly after a few American beers. Lemon towards lime hoppy flavour. A decent Pilsener.

0.568 liter can. It is a nice malty (bread?) beer with good hop at the end of every gulp. Rocky, white foam, smooth Co2, medium yellow colour. Maybe some grass and spice i can feel from hop and yeast.
