At a small pizza restaurant in Bamberg. For the style, the aroma of roasted malt is quite strong and prominent. Some grain and bread, but also banana and sweet wheat. On draught. This was good.

Bottled. Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense beige head. Aroma: Sweetness, caramel, spice, fruits. Flavour: Fruits, caramel, spice. Medium bodied. Ends fruity and sweet.

Bottle at Yesp’s - Thanks. Clear brown - white head. Roasted, nutty, licorice, berries, wheaty, some light banana, bread, dark bread, herbal, toasted.

Bottle at yespr. Dark brown coloured with a small off-white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel and butter. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel, bread and dried fruits with notes of berries. Sweet finish.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a deep amber glare and a dense creamy and tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and caramelish. Bitter, light toasted and mild herbal. Bitter and estery dry finish.

Bottled. A dark red-brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel, wheat, and butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of butter, wheat, caramel, and cloves, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Sehr dunkles HW mit hellbraunem Schaum. Hefig-nelkiges Aroma. Im Geschmack dito. Insgesamt zwar durchaus ok, aber mir fehlt die Fruchtigkeit, die das helle HW von Krombacher so auszeichnet.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with stable very light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, grain and caramel. Bitter hoppy taste with clear, sweet notes of yeast, grain and malt. Dryish, creamy aftertaste. A decent thing.
