3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 thirstyrabbit (719) - Tallinn, - NOV 2, 2012Bottle. Cloudy orange body with a medium head. Typical malty and yeasty aroma. Taste is fruity and a bit drier than the average example of the style. Very good, if only a slight bit thin. Maybe it’s more sessionable this way.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Bamsen78 (819) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2013
Bottle. Pours cloudy light amber with small white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast. Sourish and sweetish taste of malt and grain. Dryish aftertaste. Decent.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Cantabrian (382) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 19, 2013
One of the most spectacular appearances for a beer pouring from a bottle. The rest is not as good. Nice aroma of banana bread, a bit too much of that bubble gum, and some less spectacular flavours of malt & fruits.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 WeissGary (166) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAY 18, 2013
Bottle. Quite a dark orange and active body, very thick head, pours very quickly and can need time to rest. Banana and bread aroma, very sweet upfront, a hint of banana on the tongue, and a crisp yeasty finish. Its a decent little Weizen!
2.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 DeliveryDriver (103) - Illinois, USA - MAY 17, 2013
Pours a cloudy dark yellow color with a big, frothy, white head and moderate carbonation. Had a strong banana bread aroma, which unfortunately does not translate to the flavor. In fact, the flavor is surprisingly bland, and the mouthfeel is light. Not a memorable Hefer-weiser.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 rangerred (660) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - MAY 15, 2013
330ml bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a hazy medium orange with a huge billowy white head. Takes awhile for the head to settle to pour the rest of the bottle into the glass. Lots of lacing left after the head does begin to fade.
Aroma of banana and clove and some light bread. All of it is on the mild side.
The mediocrity continues into the flavor. More banana, clove, and bubblegum along with some bread. Quite watery mouthfeel with just a very light amount of bitterness. Clean finish.
Overall, a very quaffable hefe but very unimpressive at the same time. Watery and lacks flavor. Probably not one I will pick up again.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Prokroustis (570) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - MAY 12, 2013
Cloudy pale copper body with a big white head. Decent aroma with banana, wheat. Not particularly impressive weiss flavour.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 Braudog (5025) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Bottle. Classical visuals, orange-gold, hazy, damn near opaque. Bright white foam, piled tightly and neatly, in a bit of a wave, on top. Bit of a tropical fruit aroma up front, but it really comes thru on the first sip ... definite sweet pineapple, a bit of hazy yeast mixed in. Definitely among the sweeter examples of style. (#5015, 5/10/2013)

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Metalchopz (1747) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - APR 28, 2013
Single bottle from Marché Omni. Pours a cloudy golden-orange with a slightly off-white, creamy head, with great retention and some light lacing. At first pour, smells good with Belgian Ale yeast and bubblegum notes. Then, turns into some mild adjuncts from macro beers with the wheat. Maybe it’s just the hop used in this one that gives off this aromas. A fruity whiff helps out things. Wet mouthfeel with some creaminess from the head. Wheat taste with hints of oranges. Very light spices and bananas. Not bad, but nothing too crazy for style, and from Germany. Their macro Weizen.
