Bottle. Cloudy orange body with a medium head. Typical malty and yeasty aroma. Taste is fruity and a bit drier than the average example of the style. Very good, if only a slight bit thin. Maybe it’s more sessionable this way.

Shared a 50cl bottle. Pours a cloudy orangish yellow colour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is spicy, earthy and light fruity. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a dry end. Overall, a not so tasty beer but very drinkable.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, reife Bananen, leicht würzig.

330ml bottle dated 11/07/2011 served in a weizen glass around 6 degrees: Pardon my ignorance, but I had no knowledge of this product (or the brewery for that matter) until I spotted the brew at my local beer spot. It pours a hazy corn robe with vivid carbs letting rise about two fingers of finely structured foam. Retention is average and I got some nice rough lacing. The brew is visually very appealing. The nose is very bready and sweet as expected from a Weizen so points are earned there for sure. Apart from this, I got some wild hops in the back (I say wild because they had a distinctive grassy aroma) that blended very well with the malty aspects. On the tongue, the brew was a bit disappointing to be honest. I got some bready/sweet malts paired with timid hops leaving the taste a bit diluted and lacking corpus. It has all the elements you’d find in any Weizen, except I was looking for a little more boldness (perhaps from the hops) to kick it up a knotch. Overall this brew is a fair choice and I still recommend it for the sake of discovery. Cheers!

Opaque golden yellow with off-white lasting, lacing foam head. Aroma is wheat, bread. Tastes bread like, soft, fresh, little fruity. Quite long aftertaste. (Kassel 201403) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Babelas, Leicester. Very cloudy golden orange colour. Aroma is wheat and slight cloves. Taste is bananas and slight clove. Nice enough. A little too much carbonation for me perhaps. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2014 AROMA: no banana/clove notes, some sweet fruits, malt; APPEARANCE: orange / peachy color, definitely cloudy, pretty impressive white "wheat" head; TASTE: very delicate, taste of malt and yeast, sweet, slight acidulous notes, no bitterness; PALATE: medium body, slightly slick, elevated carbonation; OVERALL: pleasant, but lack of classical weizen notes causes lower grade;

Tasainen vehnäinen tuoksu. Ei erityisiä tuoksuja nouse esiin. Vaahto säilyy hyvin, väri on samea. Maussa sitruunaa, happamuutta. Aavistuksen tasapaksu vehnäolut.
