From a bottle. Pours cloudy straw colour, tiny lasting head, good example of style. I liked it.

A hazy yellow pour. Flavor of pineapple and a orange. Really light and refreshing.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow body under a one inch frothy white head that faded fairly quickly. The nose is a bit skunky at first when I pop the cap, but after it’s poured, I don’t get anything like that. It smells of coriander, orange peel, wheat, and light yeastiness. The flavor is very citrusy, lots more orange peel than coriander, which I like. Maybe a touch thin, but the spicing is well done and there’s a gentle yeastiness that mellows things nicely. This is quite a bit better than what I was expecting. Light bodied and very easy drinking with soft carbonation. Pretty decent Wit, you could do a lot worse.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of apricot and pear with a hint of coriander. Light body, slick feel, average carbonation. Mild and sweet taste of citrus, but with a metallic feel and abrupt finish. Not really what I’d call a wit, and it doesn’t quite live up to it’s alluring smell. Still, I guess it’s OK as a summer refreshment.

On tap, 25cL. @Strasbourg, restaurant "Au Canon", with sauerkraut. A pale yellow opaque beer with medium white head ; medium retention, good lacing. Aroma of lemon and peach. Light sweet, light bitter dry refreshing. Light body, thin texture, good carbonation, bittersweet refreshing finish. Overall, OK refreshing fruity witbier.

Appearance: cool blue glass bottle; pours cloudy light orange, with a fizzy, creamy white head that’s rather dense. Aroma: overpowering aroma of peaches (extract?), hint of green apple, everything else is a muddled undertone. Taste: artificial sweet-tart peach flavors dominate; under all is a hint of crackery wheat. Finish: lingering peach, decent palate, maybe a hint of orange zest? Notes: Someone took an average witbier and spiked the hell out of it with peach syrup. Lousy.

Bottle from the only cafe. Hazy gold-straw body with a thin foamy white head, traditional wit appearance. Heavy over-ripe peach aroma, some orange zest, orange, more tropical than most of the style. The peach aroma does seem fake, however that fruity aroma is hard to mess up in my opinion and is quite enjoyable. Subtle tartness, medium-bodied, lightly hopped. Normal alcohol level.

Peu friand des produits de cette brasserie mais cette blanche fruitée et florale passe très bien. Sucrée très rafraîchissante. Bouteille bue en brasserie, Noisy-le-Grand, France, le 27/07/2014.
