Light yellow with a white creamy head. Aroma moderate malty (sour), light hoppy. Flavor light sweet and sour. Light body, watery, soft carbonated. Not a success! rw4244 (128), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Apr 9, 2006 Half Pint, Draught. Cool, fruity citrus aromas, more distinct than other commercial witbier. The taste, however, was highly dissapointing - reminded me of drinking sherbert lemonade or smirnoff ice. It was also extremely sweet. It has the look of a faint white beer (like Hoegaarden) but less head. Looks can be deceptive... TBone (6741), Pori, Finland

Just released in Finland - the first Kronenbourg here with a big importer and some advertising. Hazy pale yellow, small white head. Aroma has wheat, yeast and leather. Semi-carbonated, sourish witbier. A bit fruity, not very spicey (more like sourish). Sourness and orange peel in the aftertaste. This is quite interesting mix of lambic and orangy witbier but a bit empty. oh6gdx (8838), Vasa, Finland
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 9, 2006 Bottled. Yellow hazy colour, mediumsized white head. Strong orange aroma, with wheaty and citric hints. The flavour is strong orange along with other fruits and a bit wheat. Easy to drink, and refreshing. So Kronenbourg is trying to break the witbier style by doing a lemonadeish version (the orange added...). Well, I still quite liked it, but be warned... gnoff (3568), Göteborg, Sweden
