COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
1664 White is a fresh and fruity white beer. Because of its flavor and its design, it embodies the elegance and taste of French in the world of wheat beers. Authentic, it is accessible and slightly fruity, revealing subtle aromas of citrus, lemon and coriander.

Kinz (3507) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - SEP 19, 2010
Bottle at a cafe in La Defense on the outskirts of Paris. One of the only places actually open for dinner, as this concrete jungle of an office park definitely empties out in the evening as everyone returns to the city proper. Pours a very light hazy yellow. Aroma grainy wheat and orange and lemon citrus. Flavor is a match, with some very light coriander providing a touch of bitterness on the finish. Although refreshing, it came off as somewhat soda like somehow.

Finwe (419) - Grankulla, FINLAND - SEP 5, 2010
Draught @ restaurant Cella, Helsinki. Clowdy yellow colour with a thick, white head. Citric aroma with some yeast and wheat. Flavour mainly of citric character, but some hoppy bitterness in the finish, too. Quite crisply carbonated. Not very noteworthy, but not too bad either.

Bottle (blue one). White and cloudy, with a high and lasting head. Yeasty and citrus notes in aroma, with a bit of coriander. Malt and wheat in taste, then a little citrusy and a nice coriander finish.

From bottle (Carrefour) Argenton, France. Tasted on 03.08.2010. Hazy yellow color, with white head. Aroma lemon, malts, spice (coriander). Medium body. Taste coriander, lemon juice, wheat malts. drinkable. Like the Grimbergen version more.

Draught. Pours nearly opaque light yellow with huge, dense head. Taste is sweet with hint of tartness. Palate has an oily mouthfeel. Aromas have honey, fruits.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained normale carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a thick pale color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a citrus touch. This beer smells fruity.

A hazed yellow blonde wit with a thick creamy white head. In aroma, berries and bananas, with light sulfur notes. In mouth, a lemony banana taste, with light berries, and cloves. Not bad. Medium bodied. On tap at a café on Mozart St. in Paris, 8 euros for 500mL!
