2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Geholt in einem Match in Calais. Ein simples Witbier mit einem Nachgeschmack von Vanille und Zucker. Leider zu laff und das knackige fehlt zum Ende hin.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle bought in a supermarket in Calais. Pours out in a hazy yellow-white colour with low airy head and medium body. Aroma of flowers and light wheat. Taste of mild wheat, white bread, coriander, mild citrus fruits and flowers. Flowery-sweet finish. Refreshing and drinkable, yet nothing special.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
BB 01/15. Poured a cloudy straw colour with a one- to two-finger white foamy head that retained OK and laced OK. Carbonation high and fine. Aroma of lemon plus dried fruits; weird. Taste of artificial lemon with sweet sugar; very soft drink-like. Light body. Artificially sweet and lemonade-like.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
33cl bottle. Unclear yellowish color, thick white head, dense. Lemony aroma, some artificial smelling stuff pops up and destroys the aroma. Flavor has wheat, lemon, soda, fizzy, light mouthfeel. Awful aroma, flavor better. Avoid.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Full of flavour. One of the fruitiest beers I’ve tried and the spicy finish tops it off. It’ll be hard to find an easier drinking beer.

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
300mL bottle from Beer Run. Pours a hazy straw color with a large foamy white head. Good head retention. I guess blue glass doesn’t block the light so well as this reeks worse than the fresh dead skunk I drove over the other day. Some wheat and citrus peeks through. The taste is citrus, wheat, skunk, a bit of spice. Thin bodied, verging on watery. Meh.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
(1664 Blanc) Bottle 330ml from the local Albert Heijn, poured into a tumbler. ABV 5%
Hazy body, faded honey golden colour. Small and thin white head, but with good retention. Light lacing on the glass.
Aroma of wheat, nice refreshing lemon notes, gummy bears, lime, sugar.
Taste is also quite good, although a bit artificial. Sweet, again lemon and lime, sugars, a touch of sourness but only for a moment before it becomes sweet again.
Thin body, quite carbonated, slightly dry palate.
Overall better than expected and even better than some "craft" witbiers out there. I won’t have a problem finishing this 6pack today.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Systembolaget. Fruity and flowery smell with some citrus. I’m getting some lime or lime extract, it feels a bit artificial. Similar taste. Light body. Actually quite refreshing in this hot weather but it feels artificial.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Pours very pale straw with a fading head.
Nose shows orange lollies, lychee, super sweet-smelling. Some doughy wheat. Very confectionery-like.
Similar flavours. Fake orange, confectionery, sugar. Little else. Cloying.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Disappointing for a witbier. Quite lemony but otherwise fairly bland and one-dimensional.
