Straw, hazy with a nice head. Both aroma have notes of peach in an artificial way. Itís rather sweet and as time goes by I find this more and more soda like. Probably a good start, if you arenít yet fond of wheat beers. 1597

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2007 Draft from Archway Tavern. Pale yellow with no head. Bland citrus nose with hops and a taste to match. Something artificial about it, blah.

500ml bottle, from Tesco. Pale yellow/apricot colour with that pallid peachy cast sometimes found in traditional perries. Not much head. Not much aroma either. Very citric on the palate with lemon to the fore, although there are orange and grapefruit undertones too. This gives the beer a rather sharp feel but thereís hidden sweetness too. Definite feel of orange squash or bitter lemon to it. The tart aftertaste lingers long after everything else has left the building. Nothing like a Belgian wit, but I guess it could provide some anodyne refreshment on a hot Summerís day. Which this was not.

As close as you can get to *not* drinking beer.. But very refreshing, and, I guess, a beer worth serving for people, who "does not like beer".

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Hazy pale yellow colour with a mostly diminishing small creamy white head. Sweet very fruity orange wheaty aroma. Flavour is smooth and sweet with wheat, plenty of orange fruitiness, bit sour, good barley. Long sweetish very fruity finish. On a hot summer day this soda pop beer would be perfect for a thirsty soul.

2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clouded lemony orange hue like robsons Orange barley water. Thin white foamy head and fairly lively carbonation. Citrussy lemon and grapefruit nose. Fruity citrus and orange taste that is rather thin and tastes a little like orange barley water. No hops in evidence. Thin and disappointing.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled in London. Very pale yellow. A sour beer, more like a cider than a beer. Another attempt to sell beer to people who donít like beer?
