1664 White is a fresh and fruity white beer. Because of its flavor and its design, it embodies the elegance and taste of French in the world of wheat beers. Authentic, it is accessible and slightly fruity, revealing subtle aromas of citrus, lemon and coriander.

330ml blue bottle. Pale yellow pour, hazy. Good sized creamy white cap. Orange and lemon in the nose, wheat and spice. Light citrusy taste, some peels, creamy wheat malt. Very light in body and mouthfeel. Light fruity aftertaste. Ok, works well in the summer heat.

Draft. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of artificial lemon. Flavour is medium sweet, low bitter. A bit chemical like and artificial, not good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

25cl at a music festival. Thin white head. Hazy blond pour. Not bad. Much better than their pils.

Tastes like soap :( - I drink a lot of beers and am not very picky but this is yukki......I won’t buy it again. Kronenbourg marketers should tell their people not to sell this one anymore.

Bottle in Beach Bar, Nyon. This is a very curious beer. Comes in a very small blue bottle and was served with a lemon. It’s basically a violation of the blanche style, with a load of chemicals loaded into a bottle to make it taste like a mass market palatable version of Hoegaarden. I’d think of it as an alcoholic soft drink or a shandy rather than a beer, and if you start from that base it actually (and perhaps sadly) tastes ok, especially on a hot day in the sun. Cloudy yellow, not so much wheat character or yeast, peachy lemony sweetness, bit of spice, virtually no aftertaste.

Bottle: Poured a light yellow color ale with a medium size pure white foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light wheat malt is pretty thin. Taste is dominated by lightly sweet wheat malt notes with no spices or other characteristics. Body is bit thin with OK carbonation. Watery version of the style with limited amount of coriander or orange peel makes this an unattractive beer.

One of my favorite beers. Crisp citrus flavor may turn some more hardcore enthusiasts off, but when from the tap with a slice of orange, there aren’t many beers that compare on a hot day.

On tap at joeys. Bright, hazy yellow. Nice airy cap. Stickin to the glass alright. Smells a bit stuffy/skunky. Slight lemon smell. Taste is diluted lemon, but closer to diluted lemon soap suds. Is this refreshing? I don't know. It's wet. Doesn't leave much to appreciate.
