Pours a cloudy pale yellow with an interesting cordially-tropical aroma. No way a Belgian White, you can tell it’s trying to copy but it falls way short.....too sweet.

Bottled. Cloudy yellow with light head. Sweet, sticky witbier with a lemon dab type flavour. Lacks body and any spiciness and any impact. On the whole its a fizzy pop rather than a beer, oh well.

Bottled. Cloudy yellow, evaporating head. Smells like those lucky bags of sweets I had when I was a kid, only the bag has been in my pocket for a week and started to ferment. And the flavour is from my childhood, too; it’s Calpol the cough medicine. All bubblegum and thick sweeteners. It’s not a Belgian wit (where’s the spice?) but it is strangely alluring. Like beer for thise who ’don’t like beer’.

A hazy light yellow beer with a dense white nitro head. The aroma is of lemon and pineapple, while the flavor is primarily lemon. It was served very cold - so it reminded me a lot of drinking lemonade. From the flavor, this ought to a Fruit beer. This was a once in a lifetime.

Bottle: CLoudy yellow with a lasting white head. Suprising strong tropical fruit aroma, loads of lemon with a hint of mandarin there too. Pineapple in the flavour, lemon and other fruits. Very refreshing, though lacks spice or depth. Still suprisingly good IMO.

This beer is very intersting, at first the pale clouded yellow appearance looks rather tastey but once tasted the drinker quickly realizes that this beer has a close relationship to the medicines the drinker has had when they were a small child. But after having a few of these the flavour becomes less important.

Bottle from Co-op, Stirchley. Pale clouded yellow appearance, no head. Sticky, thin mouthfeel - a little icey. Flavour is reasonably nice initially - sweet lemon cordial, with honey cough medicine. Gets a bit cloying, tinny and boringly malty as you go on. Workmanlike, but palatable.

Bottle. Cloudy orange/yellow with a rapidly disappearing head. Aromas are banana, sweet lemon and lots of perfume. parma violet sweets. Flavours are sweet lemon barley water with spices with banana and yeast. Not so tasty as many wits, but a decent refresher.

maeib (8718) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUN 27, 2005
Bottled. An ugly hazy pale orange coloured beer with a wispish head. The aroma is lemons, oranges and grapefruit and is actually quite pleasant if a little syrupy. The taste is sickly sweet and is more orange juice than lemony. A wit which lacks any skill.

[bottle from peckhams] appearance is a very light straw colour, cloudy, with a moderate but quickly dispersing head. The nose is fruity in a plastic way, reminding me of fruit salads (the chewy sweet). The body in watery and aggressively carbonated, tastes like perry water. bland and unpleasant to drink.
