Very decent, considering the brand is usually limited to weak lager. Beer is on the same level as Hoegaarden in terms of flavors and aromas but the coriander and orange come through stronger which is not necessarily good. Slightly too much carbonation, however.

330 ml blue bottle served in a snifter. Aroma: lihtly spicy with a pronounced note of ripe arpicot. Orange and apricot dominate the flavor, with some wheat underneath. Soft lively carbonation nicely complements the medium-light body. O: a soft, French vounterpart to Magic Hat #9

330ml bottle from local Albert Heijn supermarket. Pale yellow with a full white soapy head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Very present synthetic sweetness with some small bitter tones. Citrus, metallic/acidic tones, yeast and some peach. Way too synthetic to be a good white beer.

Bottle. Poured 9/16/14. Cloudy gold with active carbonation and a thick, meringue-like, white head. Aroma is peaches, wheat, Belgian yeast, grass, some spice, very sweet; smells fun. Taste is sweet, tart, peach, slightly creamy, some bread, hay; finish is abruptly dry with a long peach finish. Lacing is dense and throughout. While initially very active, the carbonation is fairly low. Mouth feel is light-bodied. Surprising how enjoyable this is. Crank up the carbonation (maybe even champagne yeast?), get rid of the added caramel color, add coriander, orange peel, and a noticeable hop profile and this would be really nice.

Sampled on draft in a Moscow restaurant. Cloudy light yellow appearance with a good white head. Zesty aromas of wheat, lemon and lime. Taste is rather sweet and uninspiring. Some citrus but also something rather harsh and slightly metallic, perhaps some artificial flavour? Not really enough bitterness, and completely lacking in the banana, coriander or cloves flavour that you would expect from a good wit beer. This beer is industrial, and whilst it is refreshing, it is a pretty poor example of a wit beer.

Not anything to write home about but refreshing nonetheless Pours hazy gold with light head. Citrus and wheat on the palate with high effervescence and light body, there's lots of carbonation and just no a whole lot of flavor. I'd take it any day over a domestic. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl Bottle from AH. Thank God I didn’t have to buy a whole 6-pack. Hazy pale yellow colour, dense white head. Looks fine. Aroma is very sweet, artificial, aspartame, orange peel, lime. Flavour is sweet, aspartame, orange peel, coreander, some wheat, sweet finish. Light-bodied, creamy mouthfeel.

Can from French supermarket. Cloudy yellow with a thin white head. The lemon and coriander combine to give a distinct grapefruit flavour. Light refreshing and not at all bad.

500 ml can from Broue Ha Ha, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Murky straw yellow with a fluffy, bright white head. Aroma: Strong lemon zest, some earthy/citrusy coriander, a little wheat/yeast fighting for attention. Palate: Medium body, somewhat relaxed carbonation for a kinda slick, greasy overall impression. Flav.: Lots ’o lemon, a bit of coriander, toasted wheat, a little bubble gum ester action; dry with minimal bitterness and a fairly long, very lemony finish.

Drinkable. Not a shining example of the style.

PotjeBier (1694) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 31, 2014
33 cl bottle at a friend’s birthday party. Pours like a decent witbier, yellow, cloudy, with a nice creamy white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma’s are sweet, wheat, lime. Artificial aroma’s retronasal, notably tropical fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet, with some fruity sourness. Light bodied. Drinakble, but the artificial flavor put me off a bit.

Hazy yellow with small white head. Lemon, light yeast and spices, some faint grains and dough. Medium bodied with creamy feel. Quite sweet, almost radler like. Not too bad but bit lemonade like and too sweet/artificial.
