Draught at The Monk’s Table. Lovely hazy pale yellow with a large snow white head. Aroma has a lot of orange notes, with a mild spiciness and a hint of wheat husks. Nice refreshing body, and very pleasant flavour - a touch too sweet for the style, maybe, but still a nice orange character with a touch of lemon and grapefruit and some mellow spiciness. Surprisingly good!

Light yellow hazy body and white head. Heavy citrus and coriander. Heavy spiced. Medium sweet. Bitterness is not exiting. Reminds me of water from the dish washer!

Golden with white head - this beer is dominated with citrus that olmost covers all other flavours - not that good, perhaps this will be bether on a really hot summer day

Bonus point for the cool blue bottle, this stuff looks really slick inside and outside of the bottle - nice head, good wheatbeer yellow going on. Smells very lemony, with a hint of grains. Tastes like lemon juice intermixed with wheat beer - almost like a shandy. Very smooth for five percent, though. A nice attempt at something new, and very drinkable, but lacks complexity.

Bottle bought in Osaka. Light yellow color, thin looking, with a small head. Not a whole lot of aroma—a little wheat malt, some cloves or coriander, citrus. Surprising little aroma. Strong citrus taste, a little fake, certainly from orange or maybe lemon. Coriander as well. Not much wheat malt or other malt in the flavor, Thin. More like a soda or a mixed drink than a witbier. Crap.

On tap at L’Autre Oeil (Gatineau, QC). Cloudy pale blond body with a thin white creamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with yeasty and citrusy hints. Taste is slightly misbalanced. It is dominated by maltiness and it ends with a short bittersweet finish. Not bad, but still under the average for a Witbier.

Draught at Sharkey’s World Café & Lounge. Pours a hazy yellow with an average size diminishing creamy white head. Mild aroma of bananas, pretty sweet, like banana candy, along with some wheat and very light spices. Watery flavour of wheat, light spices, light banana and citrus and some sugary sweetness. Light to average bodied. You know, this isn’t that bad, it’s not a world-class version of the style but it’s fine enough that I’d drink it again.
