The french should stick to wine and leave the beer to their leidenhauser wearing neighbours. Little head, crappy bottle shape and a nasty metally aftertaste. Cest merde.

Brings back memories of a perfect holliday in France. Perfect summerbeer, with a little bitterness. Very pale, with a short lasting head

Drinkable, light yellow body, with a light bitter taste. Nothing great, but does bring back some nice memories.

Pretty bland lager. Slightly sweet. Corn in the taste. At least it was not skunky. Drinkable, but not recommendable.

(15 May 04, Can) Light straw aroma, sparkling yellow body with a frothy white head. Lightly sweet and with a light bitter finish. Unremarkable. Body lightened with corn, and it shows.

Hey, my first French beer! Pours an amber colour with a frothy head and good carbonation. Corn and hops nose with mild malt flavour. Refreshing, if unremarkable, not bad. (500mL can)

Draught. Amber color. Fairly big white head with decent retention. Aroma is slightly malty, slightly sweet, little stale. Flavor is very similar, and it has a semi-dry finish with faint bitterness. Body is a watery. Tastes a lot like a weaker version of Fosters.

UPDATED: JAN 23, 2005 Despite the rather blatant corn-iverous presence, they managed to make this drinkable -- long as you don’t let it get too warm. I thought it was a bit sweet and all, but pleasant, and it had a great head on it. Ahh, 1664, that brings me back.

Rather nasty, in my opinion, but some girls I know in London have a big fetish for it. Rather bland.

I’m surprised to see i haven’t rated this one. But perhaps i just tried to block a bad memory. As caesar mentioned, only one score is appropriate for this beer: 1.664, which rounded up becomes 1.7.
