Here in Belgium , this beer tries to compete with the likes of Tuborg and Carlsberg, but doesn’t get anywhere near.
It’s not bad, but there are a lot of other and better beers around.

A decent pale lager. Big, persistent white head on top of a pale yellow beer. Decent biscuit taste with no bitterness, but no crappy cardboard flavour either. There’s better, but there’s also much worse.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2005 Had this on tap and it truly sucked!
No head and slightly skunked. One would think it would take effort to make beer taste skunky out of a freshly tapped keg.

Bottle. From Beers of the world. Guess France better stick to making wine. This poued yellow, no head. No nose. No flavor. No nothing. Believe it or not I think Budweiser is as good as this.

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Out of the bottle it seemed a different beer to the one I tasted on Draught two years ago. Poured a clear gold, with short bubbly head that dissipated quickly. Light aroma of grass and sweet malt. In the mouth, the initial sweetness was conflict to the vinous hop notes and light spice. Body was thin and mildly carbonated, with slightly unbalanced flavours throughout into a mildly fruity, short swallow. Nothing to write home about, just another ’Lager’, really.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Well perhaps it’s the spicy stew-on-rice meal talkin’, but this one seems kinda underappreciated. More fresh hops on the nose than expected and then the same again in the thin mouthfeel flavour. It’s still got those corn overtones that are so odious, but overall it was not too bad.

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2004 Simplistic lager, overly sweet. Can see it going down pretty easy on a hot summer day, but still probably too sugary for me.

Looks like bud with a better head.
Weak aroma, weak taste, good lacing.
I can’t taste anything..east drinking, better than bud but yes, it is weak and borings.
