Golden color, good white creamy head. Weak fruity, corn-like aroma. Malty, soft, boring.

So this is "France’s #1 Beer?" says the poste. Now my question is "Why would a poster lie to a person?" freser burn is the domanant aroma, with a under note of, honestly, human urine. It’s weird, the aroma deffonatly has a hint of urine. Pours a clear bright pale yellow, micro head, if you sneese you’ll miss it. palate is watery, almost no carbonation. On to the taste. MILD MILD FLAVOUR. domonant grassyness, thickly sweet malt, tiny hit of pourly grown middle america style hops. aftertaste is thick, skunky hop, and more of that syropy sweet. All in all, this is a fine blond lager, just another macro for the masses, but not even worth the armstrain to pop the cap for most beer conosours. Cheers. {ps, this one is rather pricey, and not worth it at all}

Bottle. Pours a decent bubbly head that fades quickly. Some lacing. Smells is of grass with some malty notes. Taste is thin and bitter. Slight malt flavor with non-existant hops. Kronenbourg must mean "Miller Lite" in French because that’s what this is. A french macro.

Nice, rich golden color, yet still one of the most sparkling clear beers I’ve ever seen. Nice, lively shoulders of pooling foam. Aroma is biscuity and graham-like with a slightly stale, mildly spicy hoppiness and a touch of thiol. Came across rather malty but a bit thin in the flavor. Little bitterness. Slightly doughy. Touch of metallic. Finishes surprisingly dry for the initial sweetness. Pretty much par for the course.

Pour is yellow with a white head. Aroma is only slightly skunk out of the green bottle. Flavor is corn with a sweet aftertaste. The best thing about this beer is the cool raised glass bottle.

Had this at the Two Windmills in Montmartre. Yellow color with not much in the aroma department. It was ok, but while drinking it, my fiance kept staring at himself in the mirror saying how good he looks.

I saw the cans and broken bottles of this beer over and over again in the gutters of Paris, so I knew it had to be good. I had it on tap at the Deux Moulins (the Two Windmills - where "Amelie" was filimed). A fun beer to order "Je voudrais une Mille Six-Cent Soixante Quatre, SVP". It was served in the peroper 1664 glass . Gold clear color with a thick head that dissipated quickly. No real discernable aroma. Mild, clean taste but not much flavor. While drinking this, I was staring at myself in the mirrored walls (we were sitting where the tabac booth was in the movie), something struck me. It was either the mirrors there, or it was the beer, but, I came to realize that, damn, I look good.

Same as most american macro beers, nothing much to say about it that could help to describe it.

Enjoyed in the Swiss Alps from the bottle. Pours a beautiful pale gold with a head that seems to last. Nice hoppy flavor offset by a dull malt that hints at sweetness. Loved it.
