Dark yellow, good head. Cereal malt aroma, only a bit of skunk to it. Taste is bready malt with a good balance of bitterness. Still - nothing outstanding here, but it’s drinkable.

Half litre can of the brewed under license in GB version. Looks like standard euro lager, smells the same. Lot’s of fizz, has a very sweet caramel taste. Can also detect chemicals, this is a beer to drink while in the pub watching football (soccer). Would be interested in trying the real brewed in france version.

Bottle: White head on top of a yellow golden beer. Smell typical pilsner: malts, some spices and hops. Taste is not much at and not too interesting either. Bit like Heineken, leaving you with an unpleasant aftertaste/bitterness.

Very surprisingly great light beer. Smooth and very good palate. I guess it is like a France light beer, but it is labeled a french lager.

semi különleges, kicsit savanyú szaga van. kicsit szénsavas. amolyan pizzasör. kísérőnek tökéletes. de nem több. hiába akar az lenni. száraz.

An average lager, nothing special at all except from it being french. Taste is watery and dull and colour is golden.

I had this beer at The French Market on Gay St. They specialize in crepes, but not just the traditional breakfast or dessert ones. Oh no, they also have savory ones, as well. I got a thin sliced roast beef with red onions and horseradish, plus spinach and Swiss cheese. Really tasty, and just about the right size for a lunch that satisfies but doesn’t weigh you down. Highly recommended! Oh, BTW, the beer is a standard euro lager in a green bottle.

330 ml bottle. Rated @ 20.2.2010.
Golden yellow colour with a small white head. Weak hoppy aroma with stinging malts. Flavour of malts and light hops, notes of citrus. Yet another basic lager.
