Kronenbourg 1664 is France’s No.1 selling beer and the UK’s second-biggest selling premium lager.
Kronenbourg 1664 is made with a unique blend of hops including aromatic hops from Alsace.

Draught at Pastis. Clear golden - white head. White bread, metallic, nice light metallic bite, crispy, eggs, light sweetness. Nice freshness.

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2010 Another pale, pale lager from the European continent. A bit of malts, a bit of fake-tasting hops (probably bad extract), some hints of corn, a bit of lousy metallic aftertaste. Light and drinkable summer beer, but that’s about it. Business as usual.

250ml bottle. Pale yellow body with white head. Taste and aroma of grass and some citrus... Luckily a small bottle that will easily be forgotten.

Standard Euro larger, Pale straw colour, minimal aroma, fair head, but bland and smooth. Easy to drink but not much imagination.

Bouteille de 33 cl de chez Intermarché à Morteau (F). Bière plutôt dorée, fin pétillement mais mousse absente. Nez de vaisselle, douceur âcre. Bière diluée, plutôt sèche, mais très mince. Pointe d’acidité mais vite submergée par une douceur collante et cartonnée. Semblant d’amertume. Fin de céréales, aqueuse, doucereuse.

Wow - pretty bad. Even given the green bottle - its not that skunky, but the corn and butter overpowers this beer. Diactyl city. Useless.

Kronenbourg 1664 (France) - 5% 500ml A light tasting lager with a golden complexion. Hints of caramel and honey give it a sweet aftertaste. Another favourite.
