Main stay of British pub drinking along with Stella. Very light taste, pleasant and refreshing. Good colour, odour changes with temperature so enjoy chilled.

Has a golden color with typical Euopean canned aroma. Easy drinking uncomplicated taste , simple in body. Good taste and carbonation. This could be a North American style beer by taste and that comparison makes sense consitering that is what is sold at MacDonalds in France and other European countries. Pretty enjoyable lager I think.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2008 Golden, clear, hints of corn and some malt. A straightforward lager, like a deluxe French version of most American macro lagers.

Bottle, very light golden with a white head. Corn, skunk and cooked vegetables in the nose. Notes of corn, and light grass/hay. Very very light and watery in both taste and texture. Lively carbonation. Not good.

(11/3/07, 33cl bottle, thanks jasonp) Crystal clear straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, some grass, light skunk. Taste is medium sweet, some corn, fairly inoffensive. Watery light body.

Draft. Light straw in color. Not much aroma. Thin body. A somewhat sweet flavor with a dry finish. Refreshing but relatively uninteresting.

Pale bronze hue came with a quickly dissipating foamy white head. The aroma is fairly bland, mostly wheat and cereal grain along with bottled applesauce and the faintest hint of woodsy hops. Sweet malt and corn flavour initially, surprisingly acidic and sharp middle, flowing into a grainy, peppery finish. Medium to light bodied, reasonably firm texture, explosive carbonation. Other than the applesauce and acidity, I don’t suppose there’s much technically wrong here, but there’s nothing to cause excitement. Labeled at 5.5% abv. 50cl can, Leffe goblet, bbe 08/2008.

Euro hops scent. A bit grainy. Nice semi sweet refreshing taste but with a dry finish. A bit of maty nuts. Slightly sweet aftertaste.
