Very light, not really to my taste. Nothing very special in this beer at all.

Geruch unspektakulär herb. Geschmacklich wässrig-lasch mit leichten Hopfenspuren durchsetzt. Kronenbourg 1664 war keine tolle Erfahrung.Test vom 2.10.2007, Gebinde: Dose

pours golden yellow, minimal lacing, small bubbles but medium carbonated. Initial sip, THIS IS LIGHT, way too light for my liking. Looking at the ingredients: glucose syrup = suspicious.., hop extract = mmmkay... Not looking good. Extremely light and thin, watery, mild flavours of wheat and barley that just fizzles with the airy carbonation. Definitely not a stand-alone beer; need it with a meal. Low depth, light body, low complexity, short length.

500ml can. Easy drinking pale euro-lager. Decent enough, but nothing interesting.

Was really surprised to see how low of a rating this beer has been getting. I assume its because people dislike French lol. Anyway, i think its quite amazing. It has one of the best heads. Not only is it thick and foamy, but it lasts. It has full bodied taste and really pleasant after taste. Does not linger, therefore allowing you to take another gulp right away.

Nothing special, just another regular pilsener. Nice yellow/golden color, average smell, decent taste and a low to medium body.

Maltier than many draught lagers sold in UK but still watery, headless and unexciting. Quenches thirst but so does plain water...

Can, so no skunk in my sample. Golden with quite quickly dissipating head, despite the wheat malt used. Faint yet pleasant malty aroma with some apples. Taste is malty, some apples, also soapy elements, metallic ones and a bit of alcohol. Additionally quite high carbonation. In spite of all that it is not an unpleasant beer, especially for a macro lager.
