Light straw color in appearance and very carbonated. Mildly bitter hops and pretty much the French version of Miller lite.

Bottle from some bollix at a party. Fizzy yellow corn smelling, corn tasting shite. No aroma, fizzy, awful.

Transparent straw body with very thin bubbly white head. Grassy, cereal with a subtle skunky aroma which becomes more present through the Finish. Light bodied. Some hop presence in the finish with a present carbonation.

300 ml bottle from make0your-own six pack pours a clear yellow with a one-finger head that leaves good lacing anyway. Aroma is that of so many other European pale lagers: grainy, grassy and skunky. (I wonder if the skunkiness comes from being exported in green bottles). Taste is slightly sweet with some hops bitterness in the finish. Body is light with lively carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. Very easily drinkable and refreshing on a hot day, but nothing outrageously good or bad.

Lager quelconque sans grand intérêt, heureusement au dessus de la kro classique. Pas rebutante mais j’évite quand même.

Standard low-budget European pale lager, and while officially French, this brew originates in the more Germanic-influenced Alsace region of France, not that those origins make much of a difference here. Pours a straw yellow with a foamy head that has zero retention, and smells of sweet grainy malt and stale hops. Taste is funky and overall unappetizing, pale malt with adjunct off notes and a sour hoppy bitterness. Very thin and light on the palate. Weak malty aftertaste and dry sticky finish. Has some unique flavors-the malty sweetness is kind of pleasant- and is better than a Carlsberg, but not by much. Nothing special or particularly French about this.

500 mL can. Clear yellow gold pour tall white head after an aggressive pour, tiny bit of retention and a few spots on the glass. Grain, and mild hay aroma, Taste is grainy, mildly sweet. Body is light, dry finish.

Bottle. Poured a yellow color with a smaller sized head. Yep, a pale lager with nothing setting this one apart.

0,25L bottle. Pours golden with white head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is sweet, malt, some fruity notes. Flavor is sweet, citrus, malt, notes of corn and maybe even some wheat. Overall: not awful.

France has definitely better beers and it’s far away from the pole position in my rating.
