Drank it yesterday, but almost forgot it. Or did I drink it? Hasn’t made a big impression.

Bottled. Pale golden, large white head. Sweetish and with lot of vegetabele-notes. Cereal and grassy flavour with too much carbonation.

On tap. Another euro lager. The standard gold colour with a white head and moderate carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt and faint hops. Flavour started sweet before a mildly bitter finish. Ok.

Bouteille verte de 330 ml. Arôme: Odeur de moufette et de chapelure (?). Apparence: Belle couleur dorée. Col moyen blanc mousseux qui perdure. Forte carbonisation. Large dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de moufette et de céréale. Durée de l’arrière goût moyen. Palette: Corps mince avec une texture huileuse. Carbonisation moyenne. Arrière goût de céréale. (Rating #106)

[226-20070305] 500mL. Light yeast straw grain aroma, slightly mouldy. Clear, light orange yellow body with some quick-rising big bubbles and pours a big foamy white head. Flavour holds sweet straw and light yeast, fairly bland. Light body has sweet roundness. Tastes better than it smells, could almost repeat but for that aroma.

This brew poured a medium head of fine to medium sized white bubbles that left behind a transparent yellow orange colored body. It had a mild malt hop aroma and a very smooth palate that was only slightly bubbly. The flavor was mildly hopped with some malt shining though.

Can. Average fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Some lacing. Clear flat body with a pale yellow colour. Aroma was hay, straw, grass, cardboard. Light bodied with a thin texture. Flavour was bitter with some light sweet notes. Light sweet finish.

From St. James Tavern just off Piccadilly Circus, London. I had seen this all over so figured I should try it before I left. Wrong. Appears to be the Budweiser of Europe, although not quite that bad. At least this didn't make me want to tear out my stomach. Still, pretty weak and poor tasting swill. I guess if you need a lager you could do worse than this, but not much.
