Comes in a ’fancy’ designer bottle. Pours clear and plain golden with a mostly lasting white head. Prominent aroma of light skunky and light grassy hops. Notes of bread and sweetish malts. Some malty and hoppy flavors, but taste is mainly unfresh and slight sour. Fair body. Unbalanced, edgy mouthfeel. Maybe a foul bottle, re-rate pending.

An acceptable lager, but not as good as the best Czech, German and BeNeLux varieties.

Draught at an anonymous cafe in Paris. Aroma has some redeeming grassy hops. Sweet, malty flavor with cardboard and some butter. Light, with a basically clean finish. Drinkable.

Smells like natty, looks like painful pee. Actually tastes better warm. begs the question whether the french are good for, or at, anything?

Definite grassy hops in the nose. Some hay and cereal malts also. Sparkling golden appearance as expected. The flavor is bitter and a little on the earthy side which is a nice change. Malts are sweet and bread like. Pretty good example of the lager style. If you like lagers you will like this beer, otherwise you will not. Overall pretty typical but not bad. This is a good beer to have with a meal.

Light gold color with a small head. Decent taste, but nothing special.

Pours yellow in the glass. Nose and taste is very mild hops and malts. Rated 1/13/2000

Bottle at home. Lightweight, fizzy lager. Bit of a sweet apples, sour and minty taste to it. Fair enough.
