Draught in Reims. Clear golden, effervescent pour with a weak head. Big "thumbs down," didn’t even finish the 0,33L. Crisp but utterly boring, expected this from a US macro, thin. Amazing how much this tasted like a can...

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2004 Weak hops aroma, some sweetness, but not much aroma to behold. Medium yellow clear with white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts with a little sweetness, light acidity, and no bitter. Finish has a little bitter with hops taste and some corny/grainy sweetness. Light sweet after with little bitterness. Standard lager taste, nothing special.

12oz bottle, delicately aged by jasonp. Thanks, Jason! Pours a clear, pale yellow color; white head that quickly fades. Slightly skunky at first, corn and sugar in the aroma; not very offensive, just bland. Light-to-medium sugar and mild citrus mouthfeel: bland but drinkable; quick, sugar and citrus finish. Not much here.

Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, light malty and light hoppy - fruit as well. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Light bitter finish. Watery and a little light bodied. 110910

Tap. The keg appears to be pretty fresh, which is fortunate. It pours to a golden body with a dense creamy white head. Dense lacing. The aroma is flowery and citrusy. Not too bad. The flavor is like a hopped up, lightly astringent pilsener. Very fresh as it isn’t skunky. The palate is very easy to drink. Medium light bodied and very smooth. I would possibly drink this again.

"Instant Pression" can courtesy of ogivlado who shared it with me and heavy (thanks!). Hmm, didn’t realize that I never had this beer before and I’ll probably rerate it if I find a proper can/bottle. Golden body, big thick white head that went away slowly. Yay, go technology, you’ve made it look slightly better than usual (probably). The nose is dusty, some weak maltiness and vegetabley hopiness. The taste is empty at first, but later turns out not to be the barren wasteland most nitro beers are, a bite is there, some sweetish eggy and grainy maltiness, weak lemony /herbal hopiness. Not offensive, not impressive.

Pours pale yellow into a shaker. Bright white head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Skunk aromas. Sweet, crisp malt from front to back.

Tap at Sugar Lounge: Golden pourwith a thin white head. Boring starw aroma. The flavor is mineral-like, with only a hint of cheap Euro-hops and straw. A Typical Pale Lager.
