Pours with a pale golden body topped by a medium thick white quickly disappearing head that leaves a good amount of lace behind. sour skunky aroma with a grassy hop background and a touch of malt. Slightly skunky and sour grassy flavor with a touch of malt. The finish is slightly bitter. Light bodied, dry and watery.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Drew (2411) - Kent, Ohio, USA - FEB 26, 2005
Light yellow gold, very little head or lacing. Aroma was lightly sweet and vegetal. Thin palate, mostly smooth, some carbonation. Taste was thinly malty with a light sugary aftertaste. I guess you’d want to drink this on a really hot day. Not offensive, but not memorable either.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2009 Some notes of banana, caramel, pears. Rather sweet. Some hints of apple? Low bitterness. Rerate: 5.5 ABV. Tall creamy head. Sweet sulphury nose. Grainy taste with a hint of marzipan, rice and banana. Very sweet. Nice lacework. Metallic finish. Poor.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 DrnkMcDermott (2393) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - JUL 30, 2010
33 cl bottle. Green bottle = much skunk upon opening. That clears off once I pour, but leaves a slightly chemical smell. Looks nice and clean, gold color, big spongy head. Taste has some grainy malts to it. The touch of wheat seems to be at work here, but so is the corn. Some European hops at work, but not enough to make this distinguished. Thin watery palate. Unpleasant finish.

Caramel aroma. Golden color, thin head, good lacing. Good flavor of grain and hops, but lacks character. Ordinary hop finish. Plenty of flavor, nothing at all distinctive.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Spiesy (2336) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - NOV 9, 2003
Draught. Clear light golden body, with generous carbonation supporting a medium to large white head (medium if served in the UK large on the continent). Softly balanced hops v malts, producing an easily drunk beer. Can be found in most high street shite pubs, try to avoid these examples as their not a fair representation of the beer. Most Parisian bars do a better job of it.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 sneagrams3 (2336) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - FEB 14, 2008
Tasted 2/8/2008. 12oz bottle. Consumed out of my 1664 500ml glass! Filtered with a golden hue. Lacing white head. Corny grainy cereal aromas. Mild fresh hop nose. Medium to light bodied and crisp. Mildly skunked. Tight effervescence. Sticky and coating. I used to drink this all the time in college, and still find it enjoyable.
