Bottle, from our hotel in Paris. Nothing special, slighly sweet and light. Refreshing but lacking the flavor of beer.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 lusikka (2062) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 27, 2010
330 ml bottle. Rated @ 20.2.2010.
Golden yellow colour with a small white head. Weak hoppy aroma with stinging malts. Flavour of malts and light hops, notes of citrus. Yet another basic lager.

Overall Impression:
I remember trying this for the first time and thinking: "Why am I drinking a French beer?" I stand by that question, I wouldn’t expect France to make good beer, and this is the only one I can recall ever drinking, and it wasn’t very good.

Draught, at L’autre oeil; eye : pale yellow, light effervescence, white head that leaves a ring around the glass; nose : sugary water (maple), 7-UP; mouth : light malt, finale of sugary water and fluorine, thin, light, no carbonation, lightly bitter, quite sweet; overall: I remember now why I have not any since my trip to Europe back in 1989

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Eructoblaster (2043) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 12, 2004
Canned - 500ml. Limpid golden body with a fair bubbly head. Average malty aroma with some subtle hints of pine. Taste is mostly watery with some weak hoppy flavors. Short bitter final. This unexciting beer is France’s Budweiser. So if you go there, never lose your time and Euros on that stuff...

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 sliffy (2035) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 1, 2007
On tap @ McNulty’s Bier Market: Clear golden color with a white head. Aroma, corn yeast, pale malts, some grassy hops. Flavor, grassy, pale malts. The bottle says Bier Beer on it, it’s true, it’s beer, typical lager.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 asheft (2032) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 5, 2005
[tallboy can]
Bright, dark yellow (like a dehydrated person’s pee) with a fizzy, white head that formed a thick cover. Considerable noble hops aroma with some crisp malt and a tiny bit of skunk. Thought the aroma was pretty weak, overall. Gentle hops flavour and crisp malt with a very tiny bit of bitterness and a very tiny bit of sweetness. Really there was only a very tiny bit of anything in this watery drink, unoffensive though it was. Light body, medium carbonation and a clean finish.
