Draught: What to say about this one. It pours a standard yellow with a white fizzy head. Somewhat of a beer aroma, although not unpleasant. Fairly typical macro taste. Not even a French accent to it. Non-descript.

Golden with a smallish head. Aroma is minimal, quite skunky from the can, very little hops. Fits the boring premium lager category.

glennmastrange (1547) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUN 13, 2009
Bottle. Light smells of grain for the malt, faint notes of dried grass and flower for the hops and a vegetable/corn smell in the background. Head is fizzy, white with a little lacing and the end of the glass and is mostly diminishing. Color is sparkling clear pale yellow. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic to start and then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery and has a fizzy carbonation with a dry finish. Your average Pale Lager. Easy drinking and no bad attributes.

Clear color and diamond. Compact but evanescente foam. Classic, nothing to signal. Moderate bitter for one light and normal beer.

Bottle. Golden colour. Head vanishes within seconds. The aroma is hoppy with cereals. Light bitter taste. The alcohol tastes a bit through. Cereals here as well. Really not a lot to say about this beer.

ALLOVATE (1535) - Butler, WA, AUSTRALIA - DEC 20, 2004
Out of the bottle it seemed a different beer to the one I tasted on Draught two years ago. Poured a clear gold, with short bubbly head that dissipated quickly. Light aroma of grass and sweet malt. In the mouth, the initial sweetness was conflict to the vinous hop notes and light spice. Body was thin and mildly carbonated, with slightly unbalanced flavours throughout into a mildly fruity, short swallow. Nothing to write home about, just another ’Lager’, really.

From can. urine yellow/orange in colour. Crisp white head. Medium carbonation. Sweet honey flavour, slick syrup texture. Slight hint of malt. A little different than other lagers this style. A bit to chemically and not that good.

Color is clear golden yellow with a white foamy head that faded quickly leaving some patchy ring lace and changed to a weaker consistancy as it went along. Smell is faintly bright floral hops and pale malt grain. Taste is bittering hop, piney and clearing throughout and has some grain malt that sits there and does nothing. Feel is a lighter fared medium body with a somewhat unpleasant piney hop sting that remained bitter the whole way through. Needs some help but isn't all that bad.
