06-OCT-2009, can in Paris. Golden with nice white head. Nose is beer! Well, I do not know how to describe it better. I cannot tell this appart from a Carlsberg or a Heineken. Medium carbonaiton, ordinary taste, some sweetness. Trivial.

Orange juicey, underhopped, and fizzy. Wasn’t there bubonic plague in 1664?

Can from LCBO singles bin: I’ve put off sampling this one for years and now I realize my disdain for pretentious canned euro import lagers was justified. Poured a limpid pale gold. short lived white cap, faint aroma of grainds and grassy hops and some funk ( I could be tasting a stale sample) Weak mouth. light peppery palate ( over carbonated) grainy tstes but sweet spartan hopping for a Euro lager...fast uneventful finish. To weak and sweetish without balance. At $2.55 a half liter this is totally overpriced.

Disney Epcot. Bottle. Decent, but unexciting. Some malt character and light hops. Quenching and slightly sweet. Its there, but nothing aside from that.

Poured into a pint glass. Crystal clear gold color with an off white head. The foam is 2 fingers high and leaves a surprisingly thick coat of lacing on the glass. Great retention too, none of the fizziness of the typical crappy pale lager. Aroma is faint, non skunk but not much of anything at all. Maybe a touch of grain and a touch of corn. Flavor is very light, with toasted grain and a bit of adjunct sweetness. No hops, no skunk. Watery. Palate is well carbonated and thin, and utterly refreshing. Flavor falls off a cliff leaving no lingering aftertaste. Pretty crisp, maybe a little residual stickiness from the adjuncts. Decent pale lager, easy to drink.

tmoreau (1269) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - APR 4, 2011
On tap at Ballydoyle Pub in Bloomingdale, IL., and dispensed to a thick rimmed lager glass with a clear, golden color, thick, rocky, lasting, white head foam, and abundant curtains of lacing. The aroma was light corn, a typical light lager nose, and some light graininess. The flavor added just a touch of sweetness, and low hop bitterness, in a light body. Crisp, and not bad with the food, and maybe as a warm weather hydrator.

Medium gold clear under a medium size medium lasting white head and thin lace curtains. Faintly skunky (green bottle and right on the edge of its use by date - 11/02 does not help) and stale hops aroma. Medium thin watery body. Medium malty and lighter stale bitter and chemical flavours. 9V battery on tongue aftertaste.
