3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 DruncanVeasey (4800) - NUNEATON, Conference North, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2006
UPDATED: AUG 8, 2006 Lukewarm, unpleasantly bitter metallic suds atop a plastic beaker half-filled with ice. OK, so probably not the ideal conditions for sampling a ’premium lager’. The refreshing, sweet maltiness of this beer is best expressed chilled, and at less than 36,000ft.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2007 Crisp and refreshing. Goes down smooth. The cleanest tasting lager I have ever tasted. I think this is my favourite.

Light lager aroma, with minimal hop presence start this beer off. Pours a clear light straw color, with a full white head. Not a bad lager, a bit of sweet malt flavor to it, and almost no noticeable hops. But drinkable, which is more then I expected from this.

From the 12 fl.oz green bottle. Pours golden-yellow with a good amount of fizzy white head. Aroma of malts and sweet hops. Medium mouth feel. Corn and wheat in the taste. The matls in the flavor are subtle. The overall experience is something very crisp and clean. It looks like I liked it better than other raters here.

Dåse. Ikke en dårlig makro. Sødlig fra majsen med et meget diskret whiff af humle. kunne være dårligere, men bestemt også bedre.

6-21-08 tap
Orange with little ivory white head. Smellis malty sweet with slome doughiness. Flavor is watery hence quite easy to drink. Not a bad lager at all. I expected much worse - it almost had a wheatiness in the flavor. Palate is decent - overall very drinkable.

From the tap in a shaker glass. First impression was that I was somehow drinking a Riesling -- companions disagreed, with my wife saying "it’s not Riesling, honey, it’s just boring beer." As usual, she’s right. The best part about it was that someone else paid for it. VERY average in every respect.
3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 illidurit (1274) - Santa Cruz, California, USA - SEP 7, 2008
Poured into a pint glass. Crystal clear gold color with an off white head. The foam is 2 fingers high and leaves a surprisingly thick coat of lacing on the glass. Great retention too, none of the fizziness of the typical crappy pale lager.
Aroma is faint, non skunk but not much of anything at all. Maybe a touch of grain and a touch of corn.
Flavor is very light, with toasted grain and a bit of adjunct sweetness. No hops, no skunk. Watery.
Palate is well carbonated and thin, and utterly refreshing. Flavor falls off a cliff leaving no lingering aftertaste. Pretty crisp, maybe a little residual stickiness from the adjuncts.
Decent pale lager, easy to drink.
