Had this sampled in Collioure, close to the eastborder to Spain with Sus, Jes and Helle on the biketour. We enjoyed it alot after the biketours to Latour and pleased it for its watery flavor.

Poured pale gold, crystal clear. Sudsy pure white head, didn’t last, little lace. Aroma on the line between skunky and grapefruity, som sweet malt, herbs and cardboard. Flavor had some malt sugar, but was mostly spicy, herbal hops. Fair bitterness. Mouthfeel okay. Just your basic euro. If you lived through the 70s, you’ll remember the first "German" (mostly Heinekin, Lowenbrau, Tuborg, Becks, Dab, euro brews). This reminded me of them. Boy we thought they were so sophisticated then.

33cl bottle. Very good standard lager, excellent with curry’s or anything else spicy that needs a decently strong beer to soothe the tastebuds.

From the bottle. Poured a moderate golden color, not pale but not too dark either. Bubbly. Mouthfeel is crisp, taste is in line with the standard pale lagers, and the finish was slightly bitter. Overall a pretty good beer, but nothing spectacular. The French version of Heineken.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a decent looking white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a little lace. Aroma is faint, but there are signs of hops and a sweet malt. Grassy and spicy. Taste is similar. More spicy hops than most lagers. Very refreshing despite its simplicity. Overall, a beer that brings back a lot of memories and tastes better than most shitty lagers here in America.

On-tap. A - Pale, clear golden color. Decent sized fluffy white head. S - Grainy sweetness, along with a little bit of grassy hops. Nothing exceptional, what really what is to be expected from the style. T - Similar to the smell. Mostly grainy and sweet malt flavors with maybe a touch of honey. Some grassy malts. Pretty mild taste. M - Light to medium body. Decent carbonation. Crisp and slightly smooth for the style. D - Really quite drinkable. Refreshing and a good beer to get at a bar with limited selection. Notes: Easy to drink and inoffensive beer, but nothing special about it. If you want something light and easy to drink at a bar, this isn’t a bad choice.

Pours amber with decent head and some lacing. Notes of wheat and malt. Taste is balanced with a bitter finish.
