2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Commodore (112) - Ontario, CANADA - JAN 25, 2005
Draught. Clear golden colour. Frothy head that wasn’t too tough. Non-noxious aroma is always a good thing. Very smooth..could it be nitro or just the beer itself? Mediocre and inoffensive.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2012 Can with a WIDGET. Sweet cherry malt aroma. Dark golden color with giant head and lots of bubbles - does look very nice. Slightly sweet cherry malt and light hops finish. Regular bottle more bland - standard lager.

A decent pale lager. Big, persistent white head on top of a pale yellow beer. Decent biscuit taste with no bitterness, but no crappy cardboard flavour either. There’s better, but there’s also much worse.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2006 On Tap: Not a bad brew. I’ve had this really skunky from a bottle before, and I’ve got friends who say its their favorite beer, who knows?
I think its a little malty sweet with some hops in there. When its nod gone bad its a pretty tasty lager. Smooth and sweeter than most other lagers.

[tallboy can]
Bright, dark yellow (like a dehydrated person’s pee) with a fizzy, white head that formed a thick cover. Considerable noble hops aroma with some crisp malt and a tiny bit of skunk. Thought the aroma was pretty weak, overall. Gentle hops flavour and crisp malt with a very tiny bit of bitterness and a very tiny bit of sweetness. Really there was only a very tiny bit of anything in this watery drink, unoffensive though it was. Light body, medium carbonation and a clean finish.

Canned. "This’ll be another crappy canned lager" I thought as I opened it...looks ok, good gold colour, and a white head that lasts, and leaves a fine lacework. Aroma?..well...slightly hoppy, and slightly malty..hmm,not that great. Palate is smooth and slightly malty sweet, cant find any hops there tho’..not the "crappy" I expected, not a classic either..ok,I suppose for a S&N "produced under licence" lager.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Golden Alsace lager with an slightly grassy taste but its thirstquenching and thats why the great brwewers brewed this kind of beers.
