2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20 NPRugby11 (219) - New York, USA - DEC 8, 2010
Deep gold color, sweet floral taste, rather typical Eurolager but not a bad beer to drink for the hell of it.

Draft pint at Nicholson’s in downtown Cincinnati, and served in a nice Kronenbourg 1664 glass. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma of hops, wheat, grass, honey, bread. Flavor follows suit. Light body, mild carbonation, crisp. Quick finish. I think this is the first French beer I’ve ever had. It’s overpriced, but not as bad as other raters have suggested.

Fond memories of this beer from my youth on a trip to Paris. So lets see how it rates. Golden in color with a touch of orange. Thin head. A bit of a malty grassy aroma with a bit of sour milk thrown in. Mildly carbonated and light on the palate. Light on the bitterness with slight grassyness. It could be a bit better.

similar to a heineken, only less bitter. mix bud light with a heine and you’ll have this one. prob would not buy again, although it was cheap for an import.

Tap - Three Tuns, Canterbury. Golden yellow and clear despite the heavy carbonation. An OK white head. Faint aromas of slightly citric hops. Fresh and crisp bittersweetness and a thirst-quenching finish. At the end of a night out of drinking, I was in the mood for something light and refreshing and this did the job rather well. It’s a simple lager that does what simple lagers are supposed to do.

Pours a light golden color with a white head. Aroma is light of wheat, grassiness, and some slight floral hops. Flavor is a little stronger then I expected with wheat, grass, and floral hops. Better then the typical pale lager but still nothing special.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 onomatopee (34) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 25, 2008
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 bdunhill (66) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAY 31, 2011
With a filtered flavor that removes much of the aroma, taste and palate this beer goes down smooth and is the best generic beer you can find. Viva la France!
