I’d say that this is somewhere between Budweiser and Beck’s in terms of quality.

[on tap] Well, I had to spend some time in this bar, and the only beer they had was Kronenbourg... It isn't really different from the bottled version. The body is slightly darker than the usual lager, and the taste is somewhat sweetish and corny. Unoffensive and drinkable. Better than no beer at all.

Mine was 5.2% Very pale and drinkable, not impressive. Probably the most famous French lager abroad.

Nowhere near as good As Fischer La Belle, but not terrible. Carbonation was decent but not great.
Flavor was not substatial but at least there was some taste. Color was nice yellow.
I would'nt go out of my way to find this stuff, but at least it was good enough to drink again if someone offered it to me.

I saw the cans and broken bottles of this beer over and over again in the gutters of Paris, so I knew it had to be good. I had it on tap at the Deux Moulins (the Two Windmills - where "Amelie" was filimed). A fun beer to order "Je voudrais une Mille Six-Cent Soixante Quatre, SVP". It was served in the peroper 1664 glass . Gold clear color with a thick head that dissipated quickly. No real discernable aroma. Mild, clean taste but not much flavor. While drinking this, I was staring at myself in the mirrored walls (we were sitting where the tabac booth was in the movie), something struck me. It was either the mirrors there, or it was the beer, but, I came to realize that, damn, I look good.

Cans. This is one of those beers which seems to be available in every UK pub - I know it isn't, but even so that is not a good impression to be under. A very bog-standard draught beer - quite plain, but apparently richly malty, and almost entirely drinkable. Very acceptable session fare, without ever being outstanding.

This tasted a lot more bland than I recall from years ago, but this seems the same for me for a lot of beers I try these days.
It is a pale golden affair that must be the French equivalent of Foster’s. Just another mass produced beer pushed onto the world by a brewer.
I think it is better than VB, but I cannot be sure.
Cheers folks
