Draft. I have to say I was suprised to see this beer rated so low en masse when I got around to rating it. I didn’t like the beer all that much myself, especially the thin palate, but found some characteristics to redeem it. The nose is grassy and grainy, like a lager should. Nothing in the flavor suggested the commercial faux pas of the macros (chemical flavors, acidity, sour aftertaste). In fact, I discovered some caramel, bready flavors with the neverending carbonation. My bias against lagers holds this one down, though.

Draft. This had a distinct metallic flavor but different than say Heiniken. I thought this was good but would not pay a premium price for it.

Not your typical green bottle pale. Had a bite with lots of carbonation and a watery after taste. It’s not as bad as I thought after the first one. Is a malty pale lager that satisfies that taste if that’s what you want. This may be France’s most popular, but hopefully not their best beer.

Golden yellow. Poured from the bottle with a thin and quickly retiring head. Hoppy aroma and quite sweet tasting however its quite watery with no fullness. Pretty average lager all round.

500ml Can, 5% a/v Pours a nice amber color with a tight white head. Smells of cereal and what smells almost like grass. Taste consists of hoppiness but really not much else. Not a bad beer, but not a great one either.

On Tap-Judges Bench-Ellicott City Md-Clear yellow color w/a slight white head. Not a whole lot going on here, had a grassy, corn flavor to it. Kind of bitter, I wouldn’t really recommend it, I guess you could drink it if you had to, but why??

can: Can’t say much about this one. So typical of Euro lagers carried at LCBO. No body, no personality. You need better malts to make these lagers stand out. Forgettable
