Good beer, seems very much like a dortmunder style, not too sweet, not too bitter on the hops. Good beer overall, better than many standard German Pils.

France’s national standard lager, so to speak, now owned by Carlsberg. Pale golden blonde with snow white head. Metallic, with corn sweetishness, watery body with herbal hop bitterness in the finish not unlike Carlsberg’s. A little bit different from the standard but still a boring pale lager.

On tap @ Boulebaren, Stockholm, 20140823. Faint aroma of banana and pear, some yeast. Taste is similar with some bready malt. Quite bland.

500ml can on the train. Pours a dark gold with a small head. Smells a bit like a witbier. Refreshing. I'd go for this over the other macro lagers that are usually on tap.

Bottle. Bright, bubbly gold. Some lingering head. Very light body. Yeast is vaguely Belgian with its subtle banana. Very light.

66 cl bottle from Morrisons. After pouring the aroma appears in a pleasant way. Reminds me great times at the golf course. Appears like an everyday lager - clear and golden. After some sips the aroma fades away. There’s almost no aftertaste at all. At least it’s not disturbing. In the end it’s nothing special. It’s all about the first impressions.

Can 5,0%. Clear golden color, with white long-lasting head. A bit fruity and metallic aroma. Lightly bitter waterish taste. Short aftertaste.

Een vlot drinkend biertje, in zijn categorie is hij niet zo slecht. Een goede middelmaat

On tap. Pours a goldenrod color, slight head. Aroma is slight hops and grainy malt. Flavor is similar. Thin body, but feels a bit chewy. Overall it’s a drinkable mass-produced pale lager.

Can @ home. Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, little grain, grass, little green apples. Flavor is malt, appels, grass. Medium body, average carbonation. Pretty nice for the style. 080814

Bottle from Asda Newburn. Average - fizzy, a touch creamy, a little peppery. Preferable to a number of high street lagers though.
