1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottled. Light yellow, clear, creamy whipped meringue head. Skunky aroma, no surprise. Thanks green glass and dusty long shelftime! Sweetish, very placid body, clean and largely free from such impediments as hops, malt, and flavor, until an unsettling thin metallic bitterness sets in near the end. More proof that French beers not labelled biere de garde need not be purchased from US store shelves.

Just another mass market lager. Little head and flatten almost immediately. The liquid is rather lively though. Personally, I think it tastes like a slightly stronger version of Carlsberg. Rather disappointed. French are wine people not beer. Can I say I would prefer a Bud or a Tsingtao to this?

Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma of hay, and some hops. Watery and it has a peculiar sweetness to it. Not a fan.

A nice lager, but still a lager. Good amber colour. Preferable to some other randoms on the market. Alright, but nothing special

When I first took a drink, everything was fantastic about this beer. But the more I drank, the stronger the bitter aftertaste became. I didnít mind at first, but the more I had, the more I realized the aftertaste tasted like coffee. I drank most, but I couldnít stand the bitter coffee aftertaste.

Draft. Light golden body with a small, white head. Aroma of grain, cereal and a light scent of canned corn. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Husky grain aftertaste. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation.

Surprised I hadnít rated this. I remember getting these from a vending machine at a hotel in paris. This is from a 12oz bottle, ABC on Apalachee. Yellow gold pour with a thin white head. Aroma is earthy grain. Tastes are crisp sweet malt, floral, buttery bread. High carbonation. Iíd take this ahead of many other european pale lagers.
