500ml can from a French supermarket on the drive home from Marseille. A tasty amber or Vienna lager with typical bready malt and lingering malty sweetness. Low hops. Tasty. Being quite strong aids the malt flavour and body. This is an all round tasty, easy drinking and satisfying beer. Not bad for a cheap can.

Amber coloured with a small tan head. Sweet and malty with notes of fruit, caramel, alcohol, bread and hops.

can from Auchan Illkirch. Clear deep golden colour, large head. Malty, dusty hops and a shy fruity touch. Smooth palate but rather low carbonation.

Can @ home. Aroma is caramel malt, some metal and spices. Flavour is medium sweet, lot’s of caramel, touch of metal and fruits. Could be worse.

Can 50cl @cora, a clear amber beer, nose is vinous like ! Aroma is very unusual for Kronenbourg beers, on over ripe fruits and burnt caramel, maybe some spices, cardamon ? So a sweet beer with cooked fruit notes, still nothing exceptional.
