Clear golden colour with medium white head. Malty, hay and grassy aroma. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Overall, a dull lager.

Can, 0.50l. Clear golden color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, alcohol and grassy hops. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel and toffee, follows by ripe fruit with grassy notes and warming alcoholic mouthfeel with light bitter finish. Light to medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Nothin special about it...

Can from Carrefour, Nice. More of a lager than a blonde ale, although it does have some character from that style. Golden with next to no head and not as strong tasting as you might expect, but nothing to shout about at the same time.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2014 Can 0.5l from 24h Deli in Nice, France. Aroma of corn, slightly metallic, malt?. Strange. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter, corn, rice, no hops. Alcohol is not overly present at first. Aftertaste is sweet with some alcohol sharpness now. Not what I will buy again but considering the 7€ regular Kronenbourg in the Hotel mini bar this was a real bargain for 2€.

Can from Carrefour and drunk at home. Well I say drunk. I dropped the can, the seal broke around the top of the can and beer sprayed everywhere including mostly in my face as I got it to the sink. Entertaining beer. Even from the stuff in my face all I could really smell was corn. So I’ve ended up with about a quarter of a can to sample. Clear gold lasting white head. Aroma is corn and cereal. Mouthfeel is oily. Flavour is a little syrupy but not overly so. No real hop to distinguish it. Bit of warming alcohol. Mostly dull and uninteresting corn flavoured strong lager. OK.

Can purchased at a grocery store in Paris, France. Aroma is unusual, like white wine, rhine wine, maybe? Pour is very average. Piss yellow with quick fading white head. Flavor is of corn, but alcohol burn is minimal. For a malt liquor its not overly horrible.

St. Barth Beer No. 1. Saw some decent Leffe at the Super Marche. Was headed to the beach so I grabbed some tall boys. This beer is basically malt liquor. Never left the can, but I rated its appearance anyway. So unethical. Grapey carbonated mess. Give me a Colt 45 any day. Can - Marché U - St. Barthelemy, FWI
