2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: OCT 4, 2006 0.25l bottle courtesy of ozujsko (thanks!)
4.2% alcohol. Ok golden colour (coloured with caramel...hrm). with a medium sized fluffy white head that went away fast. Very faint, kinda unpleasant grainy aroma. Watery taste, metallic hoppy hints. Acidic too, some nice fruitiness, and a touch of grain as well. Standard international pale lager. Weak hoppy aftertaste. Iíve had far better pale lagers than this.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Another world-wide low end pilsner is out there in the world. And, well, since this is French, Iíll gladly rip it. Poured pale yellow with almost no head and no lacing. The flavor was skunky and grassy with hardly any malt flavor or body. Nothing all that memorable about this one, would hate to have to try a bottle of this after the tap did so miserably.

A very light, drinkable lager, great on a hot day, ok flavor, but nothing special, a lawnmower beer european style. Iíve bought it many times at the gas stations in france if I needed a brew.

A very mediocre European beer. Iíve drunk this many times in many locations with many different people.
If anyone were to tell me that this was superior to Hammís Iíd tell them to fuck off.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Had during a Happy Hour in Charlotte, NC. Didnít expect much from this light lager, but it wasnít that bad. Clear yellow color, almost no head at all, and a light fizzy mouthfeel. Flavor reminded me of Harp. Not terrible.

I wasnt too impressed with this beer. It was hardly better than the crappy american pale lagers, but more expensive. Very forgetable and I would not recommend

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled (5.8%), brewed by SPA ALBAV, Algeria. Pale yellow, brief, rich head. Lemony nose. Sweet with soft, mellow mouthfeel. Clear notes of vegetables that manages to dominate over the strange lemon juice. Tin is obvious. No bitterness.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
To be honest, not much to be said on this. Tasted from both the bottle and draught form in Morzine (French Alps). Pretty horrible - dry and no real flavours to speak about. Maybe bearable if you cool to near freezing and then swallow quickly.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught in Paris. Pretty darn good for a pale lager, had an interesting funky undertone I couldnít quite identify. Went well with light fare, was, I dare say, complimentary; there are many worse ways to describe a beer than "went well with munchies." Iíd like to re-evaluate.
