2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Canned - 330ml. Golden body topped with a thick frothy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with bready hints. Taste is boring but not unpleasant. It is well-balanced, and has relatively strong bready/grainy notes. Short bitter finish. Not bad for a macro.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Ah, the real "Kronny" and not 1664. Golden in colour. Aromas are metal, soap and some lemon. Flavours are grain and some more soapiness. Tastes off. Not dryness or bitterness on the finish. Its wet with alcohol - thats all.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottled, Pasteurised. Pale gold with bubbly head, fizzed. Thinner version of 1664, with a stalish mouth. You have to search for flavours through a blanket of CO2 and when you get there its not worthwhile. Poor.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
I dont have the slightest why I havent rated this before. skunky aroma, typical bad lager taste, 1664 is much better, although not very good

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
on draft: for a long time i thought this was the same as the 1664...silly kids. thats what i get for thinking. not much different then the 1664 in flavor, i believe this not to be as good. the bottle isnt nearly as exciting with the swanky 1664 beveled into the side of the bottle. this is your typical bland european lager. drink it if you must.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Les Normandies, Bayeux. Pression. A simple lager while sitting at a table on the road outside a little bar overlooking Bayeux Cathedral after a brilliant day exploring Normandy including a thorough inspection of the Bayeux Tapestry. The beer is harsh and thin with just a little scrape of malt and a smack of stale, boring hops.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Dark gold color with a medium thick and slowly diminishing white head. Small bubbles rising and thin lacing. Lightly skunked hops aroma. Light and smooth body with a faint hops flavor. The skunkyness found in the aroma is not a factor in the flavor eiter. The finish is somewhat creamy which was a bit of a surprise. Still this is not a good beer.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
The epitome of a bland, blond lager. Quite inoffensive, but entirely lacking in any distinctive features. Better than water for quenching a thirst on a summer day, but not much else to say really. Bottled, France, December 2003.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Gold in colour. Light aroma of grassy hops and just a hint of skunk. Very light body with light hops. Finished with a light bitterness. Refreshing.
