75cl bottle. Pours a decent golden yellow colour. Overwhelming grassy aroma, some hops and malts too. Taste was bland, nothing much too it. Tried it fresh in Strasbourg and not too impressed.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
A decent beer. It goes down alright but overall, there is not much to it. Its texture is very simple and really just not interesting. Flavor is bland and appearance is very pale.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can - 4.2%. Gold with a white head and moderate carbonation; aroma of malt and hops; straightforward malty flavour; short finish with a touch of hop; nothing bad about it, but not exciting.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled: Labeld as 4.2 alc.(!?). Quite overall, grainy, sourly base, fresh but boring. Bit hoppy, all in all refreshing but not more.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Twenty years or so ago, this beer was heavily marketed in the U.S. At least around New York City anyway. Pours a yellow/gold with a fizzy white head. Light aroma of sweetgrass and caramel. The flavor is a bit malty with a bit of hops bitterness. Really pretty average stuff.

Compact and vanishing head, fair resistance. Yellow pale color, limpid and with light fizz. Ordinary and slightly metallic scent; herbaceous and of cereals water notes. Little stinging taste, watery and lightly vanishing. Inconsistent bitter and alcohol.

Easy thirst quencher, not that different from 1664. Propably the most common lager in France? Had a few of these this summer in Paris.
