0,5l can from somewhere in France. Pours pale golden with a medium head. Aroma and flavor are mostly grassy malts. Drinkable but utterly unremarkable.

From the tap, it had a four finger head. Slightly metallic a little wet grass, with a soft, but not smooth finish. For all the crap I give Japanese macros at least the Japanese can make a decent cheap beer. This was just crap, I expected more from a brewery with such history. On the plus, the taste was a bit nostalgic of beers during my time studying abroad in England.

33cl can this time, the only non-sugared drink option in ghost town Neuf-Brisach after a long walk. At 4.2% this light eurolager is expressly brewed as a thirstquencher, which makes it easy to down in a few gulps. Mf is naturally watery, with a low malt presence and a few traces of faint but quality, delicate ?Alsatian hops with a floral/citrus note. For what it is, not as bad as I remembered from my pre-craft days during French stays.

plenty of bottles and pints of this in france. pours a straw colour with pillowy white head. aroma is of grass and wet straw - slightly sweet. tastes like many euro-lagers. it’s very fizzy, sweet and a little dough-y. best served very cold.

Clear pale gold with small quickly dissipating white head. Weak metallic grassy sap like aromas. Medium to soft even bland bitter sweet palate.

Bottled (old bottle, no 1664 mentioned on the bottle). Deep golden/pale amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is caramel, some herbs, mild raisins as well as some sweet malty (the vintage) notes. Flavour is caramel, bread, some herbs and mild earthyness in an interesting mix. Has aged quite well with hops more or less disappearing and the malts going a bit sweeter than they should be. Actually very pleasant "vintage beer", although pale lagers are not the best for aging...
