2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
The commercial description says it is ’light-bodied’...it doesn’t mention it is also light-flavored, light-headed, and, overall, a bit light on character. This is quite drinkable, mind you, not swill---but with all the great European options available, why bother with something so ’ordinary’? By all accounts the French brewing industry is making a comeback, but with old warhorses like this still prominent, one could understand if they just decide to stick to winemaking.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can from a street store in Paris. Poured your standard fizzy mainstream lager gold color w/ a white head. Totally unremarkable in many respects. Malty and light bodied but better than most mainstream American garbage, though this could be equated as common European garbage, but at least European standards for the masses appear to be a little bit better than in the States.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle in France. Not too shabby, better than the standard 1664 brew I think. Refreshing on a hot day at least.

Nothing special, but a good, dry finish makes it a little bit better than average.
