2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Straight from the 0.5 l can. No outstanding flaws apart from the fact that it lacked significant taste. Thin, easily drinkable.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
This more or less Euro-bud. Its everywhere in France. In Pulp Fiction, when John Travolta talked about getting beer at McDonalds in France, he was talking about Kronenbourg. Every pub umbrella says Kronenbourg, it seems. Just like Bud in the US, it has little flavor, but is not offensive. France is hardly a beer country, and this doesn’t help the reputation much.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Drank lots of this during time spent in europe, cheap over there and you can find it everywhere. Taste like an average lager, with a bubbly head and too much carbonation. I would drink it again if I was still over there. but I won’t go looking for it here.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
The commercial description says it is ’light-bodied’...it doesn’t mention it is also light-flavored, light-headed, and, overall, a bit light on character. This is quite drinkable, mind you, not swill---but with all the great European options available, why bother with something so ’ordinary’? By all accounts the French brewing industry is making a comeback, but with old warhorses like this still prominent, one could understand if they just decide to stick to winemaking.
