A good beer if you fancy a quick drink - not too heavy and you can drink these in great quantity

500ml can poured in a Weizen. A: Pours a pale yellow color forming a huge white-off head. Very fluffy and aired with medium retention and forming many lacings and chunks of foam in the glass S: Sweet grains and Lager yeasts, mainly. Some flowery hops ion the very end T: Follows the nose: Slightly sweet upfront. Sweet malts, Lager yeasts and very light hoppy end. In overall, a neutral to dry taste with a very mild bitterness M: Light body and high carbonation. Watery in the mouth. Malty aftertaste O: Average drinkability. Average Lager. Not very tasty and it lacks bitterness... and personality [ BA Review @ 9/9/2012 ]

Draught at Cafe de Paris, Poitiers on 15 August. Poured a pale, clear golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of lager malt, bread and grassy hop. Overall pretty watery, some dough, copper and boiled sweets in the flavour. Finish was very light, with some hay and corn.

Bottle from a campsite in France. Golden with a white head. A very standard lager. Some spiciness, otherwise slightly syrupy corn notes.

Bottle from local Marche in country France. Pale looking with a thin white head. Good thing about it was you could drink it straight off the shelf, no chilling required.

It’s basically Kronenbourg 1664 but slightly less nice. A touch more sickly, a bit less crisp. Drinkable though.

When in France on a hot day on a campsite I always crave for a Kronenbourg. It’s piss, but sometimes I am a basterd and like this shit. C’est la vie
