Bottle: Thanks Koelschtrinker: Medium sized, lively on the side, vast in the middle, creamy light tan head, changes quick into a thicker vast lacing on top of a clear red ruby colored beer. Smell caramel, barleys, raisin and prunes, spices, toffee, hints of dust, vinous notes, oatmeal and darker herbs. Nice smell. Taste barleys, prunes, barley malts, (autumnal) creamy herbs, nuts, caramel, toffee, nice bitterness, some hints of floral herby hops and some darker creamy herbs. Also pretty nice taste. Aftertaste caramel, light dry, autumnal herbs, barley malts an some earthy nuts. Low carbo, light spicy mouthfeel, good medium body and a texture between watery and creamy. Very nice bock!

Copper color, small but steady white head. Grassy and malty aroma. Grassy, alcoholic, a bit sweetish flavor.

(Bottle) Pours red/orange amber. The aroma holds caramel, toffee, bread syrup, nuts and herbs. The flavour is medium sweet with notes of caramel, bread, nuts and herbs. The mouthfeel is full and round.

Frischer, angenehm fruchtiger Geruch. Dezent fruchtiger, extrem weicher Antrunk, absolut herrlich! Weiterhin malzig, der Alkohol ist hin und wieder schwach erkennbar. Ab dem Mitteteil leicht schokoladig, wenn auch nur kurzzeitig. Im Nachgeschmack ist der Alkohol zwar stärker erkennbar, aber immer noch nicht in störendem Maße. Malzig, vor allem aber sehr süß klingt das Bier langsam aus. Nach den anderen Bieren der Brauerei eine pure Wohltat! Test vom 11.2.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,11,13,13,12 - 11,90

0.33 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Reddish amber color. Sweetish, toffeish, nutty and berryish aroma with red currant. Sweetish toffeish flavor with caramel, raisins and berries. Low bitterness. I would like to have more bitterness or dark malts. Tastes a bit like low alcohol English barley wine.

Clear dark ruby-brown color, decent beige head. Strong aroma of caramel, grassy hops, toasted sugar and light grain/pulp. Decent body. Raisins, caramel, prunes, toasted sweet malts. Smooth and mellow mouthfeel. Not too alcoholic. Quite enjoyable, although lacks the finale punch in it.

Bottle. Sweet prune malt and moderate astringent aroma. Clear chestnut color with minimal head. Sweet prune and caramel malt flavor with a light astringent finish. Mild easy drinking dunkel bock.

Bottled 33cl. It pours an amber colored beer with a creamy, nicely lacing beige head. Inviting aroma of berries. Good malt profile. Crisp, sweetish and easy drinkable. Malt accented. Medium to full bodied. Low bitterness. Some hints of marzipan showing up. Long sweet malty finish which is reminiscent of tea leaves and figs. Definitely a good bock.

Unclear amber with a large beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt and caramel. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel and overripe fruits. Finished somewhat hoppy. Nice one.

[Bottled] Deep amber with a bubbly, tan head. Loads of sweet fruits in the aroma. Pretty light body with fruitiness anf some nuts aswell.
