Unclear amber with a large beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt and caramel. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel and overripe fruits. Finished somewhat hoppy. Nice one.

Loads of sweet fruits in the aroma.
Pretty light body with fruitiness anf some nuts aswell.

Clear copper color, light brown head. Grainy, malty scent. Sweet, grainy, chocolate taste. A hint of smoke in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Sep 27, 2008 The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass not very zippy, not much foam. Tastes strong and alcoholic, unbalanced, metallically. Not so good!

Nov 14, 2007 Bottle. A amber beer with a big beige head. The aroma is light dusty, caramel malt, raisins and rye bread. The taste is the same, but sweet. Medium body with a sweet, rye bread finish.

Sep 13, 2007 Bottle from Der Doppelbock. Orange brown color. Malty, buttery, somewhat floral aroma. Just below medium bodied. Very malty, almost sugary sweet flavor with butter, banana and mandarin. Pineapple. Fruity, very sweet but also pleasant bock.
