Clear copper color, light brown head. Grainy, malty scent. Sweet, grainy, chocolate taste. A hint of smoke in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass not very zippy, not much foam. Tastes strong and alcoholic, unbalanced, metallically. Not so good!

Bottle. A amber beer with a big beige head. The aroma is light dusty, caramel malt, raisins and rye bread. The taste is the same, but sweet. Medium body with a sweet, rye bread finish.

Bottle from Der Doppelbock. Orange brown color. Malty, buttery, somewhat floral aroma. Just below medium bodied. Very malty, almost sugary sweet flavor with butter, banana and mandarin. Pineapple. Fruity, very sweet but also pleasant bock.
