Slight hazy lemon yellow with good stabile white head. Aroma is very malty and clear sent of fresh dried cereals, some honey without the sweetness and some hints of herbs and hops. anyway, the aroma is attactive and well in ballans. The taste is smooth, fresh malty, has a slight fruity touch aqnd ends with a complex flowery, soft hoppy finish. Thanks Sebastian for this elegant and very tastefull thirst-killing brew.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 JoeinEscazú (1324) - San Jose, COSTA RICA - MAR 3, 2010
We found the bottle in Monschau. Wish we’d picked up more. Nice, dank, piney green hop aroma wafts across the room after pouring. It’s a hazy yellow-gold beer with a sturdy marshmallow-white, meringue-like top. That green-hop nose also has some sweetish cereals there beneath. It tastes lightly sweet with a firm, crisp hop-bitterness to it. Nice character, very refreshing. My wife kept stealing it.

Tap in a Biergarten in Manderscheid. Hazy yellow colour with a big head, like a weizener. Aroma is more straw and wheat. Somewhat bitter taste, with a bit sourish aftertaste, and a bit dry and bitter finish. Refreshening.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2006 LCRBM. Slightly citric aroma. Malty, slightly hoppy flavor. Hints of citrus in the aftertaste. Pleasant and inoffensive. 6 3 6 4 10 = 2.9.
Re-rated in the relative quietness at home, without the company of a lot of raters and a lot of other beers the beer deserves a higher rating. Bottle, bought at the Trinkgut in Nordhorn. Blonde, cloudy, frothy head. Grassy, citric aroma. Firm hopbitter flavor. Grassy, citric, even a bit earthy flavor. Sharpish, long oily bitter aftertaste. Good!
