Kroon Pilsener

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 3 Aug 2009) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of grass, hay and hints of tropical fruit. Malty, bready taste with grass and a touch of tropical fruit. Mild bitterness in the finish. Below medium body, balanced sweetness. Middle-of-the-road-ish, but drinkable.

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a small diminished white head. Mild cornish and light caramel malty aroma. Mild sweet flavoured with a mild of light caramel and cornish notes. Mild sweet and bitter into the finish.

On tap. Decent pilsener, malty, slightly bitter with some sweet fruity notes.

Draught (Arendsnest, Amsterdam)
Fairly tasteless lager. No particular hoppy component so not a proper pils. No negative aspects apart from thinness though, at least.

Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Creamy white excellent mostly lasting head.Yellow colour. Light malty moderate hoppy aroma. Pine and orange notes. Moderate bitter flavor, Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Nice pilsener.

On tap at ‘t Arendsnest.
Clear golden coloured, small white head. Low bitterness. Sweet malty and hoppy aroma. Pleasant hoppy finish. Quite nice and refreshing beer.

On tap at Arendsnest with Pieter and Arne. Pretty good for a Pilsener. Smooth, spicy but fair enough with little texture or individualism to it.
