Our objective when elaborating this beer was to combine the pleasant fruity aromas originating from the traditional high fermentation (16-20°C) with the use of two types different of aromatic hops, that give to this beer unique and really unmistakable personality. Of golden color, intense and characteristic fruit aromas, with notes of caramel and fruits in finish, leaving a refreshing citrusy and dry bitterness. Ideal for accompanying red meats like lamb or like appetizer, where its delicate bitterness sensitizes the palate for the next flavors.

(Bottle, supermarket). Nice looking golden color. Big foamy white head and average carbonation. Strong hoppy aroma with herbs and fruits. Mild bitterness, a little acid. A little boring.

12oz bottle - Pours a lovely rich golden, thin head that stays to the edge of the glass. Muted aroma of nothing much. Initial malt sweetness then a long lingering almost biting dry bitter finish. Pleasant enough but no stancout.

Fairly typical golden ale, light hoppy aroma, sugary malt sweetness with decent bitterness. Fairly light body, clean and refreshing.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2007 (in bottle, gift of a friend). An aroma with hop and herbs in an ale, good!. Good golden color and one frothy head happens. The malt candy is good, with the just bitterness. His problem is the very light body, and the thin texture. It is a good blonde ale, among the best.

Bottle, Thanks to the Chilean Gang (Lilith, Panzerfaust and Nigredo) HUGE, foamy white head and a fantastic, clean golden-yellow color. Yeast and sweet-hop aroma, flowery. Fruity, refreshing taste, malty and a fine herbal finnish with a sligh acid tang. Swift, lingering, lightly bitter aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, somewhat overfilling for such a light and refreshing brew. A really nice blond to enjoy a hot summer night.

Bottled at Sicosis, Santiago Clear golden, rich firm head. Ligtly grassy nose. Sweetish with rounded grainy maltiness and evident buttery malt flavour. Medium bodied. A touch of vanilla appears before easing away into a finish with rather low bitterness. Well balanced and rather enjoyable.

Nice sparkling amber color with a sandy-colored head with a good lacing. Medium body, siroupy at the end with lively carbonation. Fruity start with caramel and citric notes and a bitter end.

Pours a beautiful brilliant amber beer with a medium frothy head. Moderate malty nose with a mild aroma of fruits like apples and blueberries increased bv some caramel and slight hoppy notes. Flavor is fairly complex, starting bitter with some green apple and cinnamon hints ending with a citric finish. Palate is similar to a belgian ale: medium body, good carbonation and medium finish. Nice.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2006 In the bottle at Flannery’s Irish Geo pub in Santiago. I thought when this was poured that there was a difference between this and the other Chilean beers. I was right. Aroma. I know you can’t see it but the look of the beer suggested something differenct from the usual swill around the city. It is subtle compared to beers in other countries but I am told the Chilean palate is not attuned to hoppy aromas. I don’t know that such a condition can be called national just that it is not common. My Aussie palate is certainly attuned to their pisco sours. Good malty balance with the hops as well and overall a fine beer. Thank god.
